Difficult to say but one thought crossed my mind. If a snap election was called, would they be brave enough to offer a referendum on rejoining the EU? Not a trick question. I was a remainer and would take the chance, even with my reservations.

The only way they could do that IMO would be if it was in their manifesto. It was might be the way back in for the Tories. 

There's no way Labour are going to push themselves as more than just a "safe pair of hands" after this shit show. And why should they do any different, absolutely no need to do anymore.

That's years away. At least a decade. We'll probably rejoin the Single Market as a 3rd Country, but full EU membership, not a chance.

Surely if it was in the best interests of the country they’d go for it. I get your point about the Tories but the way this government is performing I think they could get away with it. I did say it would be brave though. Time will tell.

These are strange times though. With the political situation as it is in Europe I think they’d welcome us back sooner rather than later.
