Been on chaplains before. I get that Germany has its own issues but it does feel like a daily mail exaggerated special. The Reeperbahn having wronguns isn’t exactly new news and the disposal income cut off for tough time seems high. I know Hamburg is the 2nd wealthiest city so could well make sense.

They've a huge issue with ageing population and job filling though that the article states.

So similar to here but (apparently) we can’t use foreign workers because of Brexit. I wonder what’s stopping Germany using foreign workers?

No, but I can answer it myself. There aren't enough migrant workers entering Germany. Very similar to us, except we're actively trying to stop them. They are trying to solve their problem, while we're trying to exacerbate ours to appease the racists and gammons.
