I'm actually surprised it's lasted as long as it has. In the main, whilst not support Russia, I suspect most people don't really give a fuck anymore. I'll just be happier once it's over, no matter who "wins", sadly though, I suspect we've several more years of this conflict left yet.

The consequences are dire for all of Europe if Russia is not repelled from taking over the territory of a European country by force. Leaders of all the European countries and the US know this. It is going to be a long haul sadly, but the alternative is not worth considering.

Gigantic arsehole that he is, "Mizzy" is inadvertently bringing to light a very important aspect of society today, which is just how naive our justice system is and just how much it will tolerate before sending people to prison

Trying to secure energy supplies, especially gas after depending on Russia for nearly half is going to hit hard.  They actually make stuff in Germany so the energy crisis has hit them very hard.

Been on chaplains before. I get that Germany has its own issues but it does feel like a daily mail exaggerated special. The Reeperbahn having wronguns isn’t exactly new news and the disposal income cut off for tough time seems high. I know Hamburg is the 2nd wealthiest city so could well make sense.

They've a huge issue with ageing population and job filling though that the article states.

So similar to here but (apparently) we can’t use foreign workers because of Brexit. I wonder what’s stopping Germany using foreign workers?

Is this really your best defence of Brexit?

No argument from me. They had a bigger issue with an ageing population but point still stands.

Can you highlight where he explains why they can’t fill job vacancies and if they’re using foreign workers?

No, but I can answer it myself. There aren't enough migrant workers entering Germany. Very similar to us, except we're actively trying to stop them. They are trying to solve their problem, while we're trying to exacerbate ours to appease the racists and gammons.

So they’re trying to solve them yet the numbers are rising. Not doing a very good job are they.

And you think we're doing better?

I’ve not said we are, we know how you and others like to jump on the anti Brit bandwagon as soon as you can and blame Brexit on basically anything yet reality shows many other countries are having problems.

Anti-Brexit = Anti-Brit now?

What next? Anti-pumping sewage into rivers = Anti-Brit? Anti-tax avoidance = Anti-Brit? Anti-hanging protestors = Anti-Brit?

As above, that’s not what I said.
