I am registered in Gibraltar. I didn't say to vote. As far as I know, the only folk able to vote in UK elections in Gib are servicemen/women and their families.

This is what he actually said.

The Reform UK leader told the BBC that "of course" the war was President Vladimir Putin's fault. 
But he added that the expansion of the EU and Nato gave him a "reason" to tell the Russian people "they're coming for us again".

We’ll never know. The point is, the expansion of NATO has been a concern by many major political figures. Farage’s comments are echoed by many. I don’t think it’s an extreme viewpoint. The BBC headlines are misleading. 
Of course NATO has expanded since the Ukraine war. As a result, Putin has spent the last week forming an unholy alliance with North Korea and Vietnam. Add that to China and you have a dangerous alliance bringing instability to the world.

Ukraine was never going to join NATO, they only actually applied in 2022.

Finland and Sweden have long been neutral but now fear Russia, that's not NATO's doing. Russia has long been friends with NK and Vietnam, Putin is simply on a mission to find more munitions and volunteers.

Sovereign nations shouldn't be allowed to decide if they do or don't want to join the EU or NATO if they want to, is that's what is being suggested? 

Anyone who tries to 'explain' how the invasion of the Ukraine is anything other than Putin's goal to get what he believes is rightfully the Soviet Union's territory has rocks in their head. Funnily enough this usually comes from those who decry the left wing in political persuasion.

Basically it's NATOs and the BBC's fault Russia invaded the Ukraine. Other than that it's a Saturday and I wouldn't think about it too much. Certain people on this thread certainly haven't.

This is from the Bucharest NATO summit in 2008. Their aspirations go back even further.
