14 years. Must be at the bottom of the policy 'in' tray, along with those 40 new hospitals.

So @bolty58a serious question, I appreciate that you don't think the Conservative Party aren't right leaning enough anymore, hence you saying that's why you prefer to vote Reform this time around. That's fair enough.

When though, do you think they moved to be too central for you?, as it must have been very recently given that you thought Johnson was excellent and you never accused him of being too central

For what it's worth, I actually further to the right now, than they've been for decades

If Farage was to lose in Clacton do you think anyone will claim the vote was rigged ?

The reality is the Tories have only shifted to the right in empty rhetoric

In practice, the Government has overseen record net immigration, a higher than ever tax burden, made little, if any, genuine attempt to curb the more extreme aspects of identity politics and human rights law (because it would likely mean leaving the ECHR, which they won't do), and have failed to properly maintain a firm grip on the economy

It's no wonder the Party's hemorrhaging votes to the right

He can’t vote. He’s Australian

probably, such is the cult. I suspect he will win, but it will be mildly amusing if he does make it an 8th losing campaign

I think he said the other day he's registered in Gibraltar, therefore he could vote (unless he was fibbing).. fuck knows how that works though to be honest.

Take all of Boris' facade away and he was pretty left leaning. Probably their most left leaning in ages the way he jizzed money about and allowed immigration rise.

What a fucking oddball

Not to mention his stupid vanity projects like the Garden Bridge across the Thames

No one gave a shit as there's plenty of bridges to use so no need for a new one

But he decided to spaff around £40m as Mayor of London on consultations for something that no one was interested in

Apart from him and Joanna Lumley and she just happens to know an architect. No prizes for guessing who got the gig

But they were told they had to go out to tender. So they did but gave other companies a very short window in which to get their bid together

One was the ones who designed the London Eye, so know what they are doing, but once they realised it was a closed shop and a pointless exercise they said they wished they had never bothered as it was just a complete waste of time

Johnson got voted out, khan comes in and scraps the whole idea. But still £40m down the pan

Looked like a Greek Island without the apostrophe, so I typed it how I say it.

You should have written thickohs then.

An apostrophe is there to signify a missing letter.

Sadly not

Three unusable water cannon bought by Boris Johnson when he was mayor of London have been sold for scrap, at a net loss of more than £300,000. Johnson bought the crowd-control vehicles from the German police in 2014, in anticipation of social unrest, without checking whether they could be used on London's streets

It's up there with John Prescott buying the yellow school buses from America and not realising the doors would open in the wrong side of the road

Never heard that story before, surely no one is that dense?

One hundred buses will be shipped over from America to start in the autumn term.

See guardian link above

So according to Farage the West provoked the war in Ukraine.

 What a turd.

How can folk vote for his party?
