Injuries

Where can you keep up to date with our injury situation?

I really rated Warhurst, cracking footballer.

But also hard as nails. Remember he clattered Eirik Bakke once in an aerial challenge, so hard he had to be subbed.

Aye....away at Norwich , early on in the game, Warhurst smashed that silly fucker who used to take his teeth out to try & make himself look fierce, Ewan Roberts, so hard that Roberts spent the rest of the game hiding on the wing looking befuddled.

Elliott and Warhurst both managed more than 100 games for the club.

Surprised me a bit.

I thought we'd proper made the big time when we signed Elliot and Cox.

We haven't had a right back anywhere near as good as Cox since. He could attack and defend equally well

That 97-98 team was far too good to go down.

Aye

Elliot had a good season for Newcastle before he signed and was very surprised we were able to get him

And was equally gutted when he got injured and out for the season about 3 or 4 games in

Think he was playing in midfield for Newcastle and scored a few so was surprised we got him

Everton at home was when he did his leg

Didn't they blame the weave of grass and something else in the surface for him catching his studs or something?

say it again, Warhurst and Elliott were my kind of players. Nowty, dirty fuckers... but they could play a bit.

Chuck in John Sheridan as well

Wouldn't say Elliot was dirty

Warhurst,Sheridan and pollock could put foot in and play

Talking injuries, anybody seen pics of Joey O'Brien's mrs? I'm surprised he doesn't have a permanent groin strain. I know the rules but don't know how to put links on

Mark Davies is still training at Bolton, but is apparently at least two months away from being fit.

So six months from playing and getting injured again..

Guessing at a knee problem?
