So, what's the starting XI after today's win?

Any of the subs do enough to make a start next Saturday?

As has been said, first half was utter drudgery, would have taken a draw after 20 mins and still woul have at half time.   Somehow found ourselves in dreamland at 2-0 but never secure, both goals co

Problem was we had just subbed Noone who was tracking back for Alf leaving olkowski exposed.

They scored straight from the corner when ALF came on. It was just shit all round to concede a goal like that. Wouldn't blame Olkowski either. Wheater falling over right at the start was poor and from there we're in trouble all the way.

I’d rethink wheater being in the box for a corner late on surely be better keeping him at the back given he’s not quickest getting back. We could of played a short one and just wasted time.

I think you're damned if you do in those situations. Waste time in the corner with 10 minutes plus 6 of injury time still left and people call you negative, if you concede. Put people forward and get caught on the break and people blame you then.

I'd probably have tried to see out time, but Bristol were probably too good and too ambitious on the day for us to spend 16 minutes camped in our half and come out unscathed. Offside goal probably changed that game. Had that been ruled out and we'd survived next 5 minutes we'd probably have gone on to win comfortably.

Le Fondre’s fault that

The pole had a right go at vela when the 2nd went in.

Vela looked pretty perplexed as to why mind.

Yeah agree with that

It also swung in our favour earlier after that pen wasn’t given - def gave us a lift

Am sure its been said already, but 4 points from these first two games is fucking great going.

WBA was a proper battling away performance, which we've seen far too few of in the last two seasons. Whilst we were second best against a strong Bristol team and still got a point.

The team will undoubtedly (IMO) gel and get better as the games come thick and fast. Whilst the squad will get stronger in the coming days and weeks with the loans.

I'm very confident we'll be a fair distance from the last day exploits come the end of this season.

Slow progress is the best we can expect given the cards we're playing with presently, but that'll do for me for now.

If we finish towards the top of our "mini league" then that's progress, and to be fair it's all we can ask for right now.

Average out 4 points in 2 games and we'd be ecstatic.

Not going to happen but we are of to a much better start than we have for ages in the championship
