Ultimately it’s no ones job on here to find a suitable replacement. So all this “who would you get then?” When someone suggests potting PP is irrelevant and a bag of bollocks  It’s the task of on

The end of the drought is nigh. 2-0. Ameobi and Ireland

I just want a manager who doesn’t instruct his wingers to defend 3 yards in front of the full backs, who are already on the edge of their own box. That’ll do for starters

and since then, wilder has spent 13 million

Rubbish, he's spent just over £5m and recouped most of that in outgoings. The majority of signings are loans and frees just like us and most other Championship clubs. If you're going to make sums up at least make them halfway realistic.

Which teams that didnt go up had better players

Has he bollocks

Just this summer

Egan was over 4

Norwood, currently on loan with 2 million due in January

Last summer, 8 players at around 500k each

He shows a profit on his transfers bot nowhere near the 10 plus millions we do

Yes

I know

Its why he shows a profit

He's since spent well over half of it

Or which player in League 1 that season where better than the ones we had?

From what I watched, loads of them :)

Just looked at the EFL and PFA teams of the year

We had 2 players in there

And that's wheater and beevers

Am sure if Clough, ameobi, morais or alf had played the whole season they might have got in, given their form in the half seasons they played

Aye

Oztumer :)

Seriously, him and 7 others including our two

Most at sheffield United as wilder doesn't have to sell anybody who is any good

Meredith in there, too

Dack wasnt

I'd say lots of midfielders looked quality against us

Anyway, thought you pie eaters should be watching chase the egg

The problem is he got results last season from that shit he has to choose from that’s the annoying thing

it wasn’t pretty but last season we would of beaten Swansea as we did just about against villa Norwich sheff weds etc..

he doesn’t know what team he’s putting out on a weekly basis the players are probably more confused than us!

like I mentioned previously there will be someone who can sort this team and not necessarily a big name or somebody who requires a compensation pay out

I don't disagree with you tbh

My problem with getting shut of Parky is that I simply can't come up with a name to replace him. Looking at the lower leagues for someone who is doing a good job there's maybe a few candidates? But if they are doing well would they come to the car-crash that is BWFC? I just don't have an answer. Wish I did

I took a neutral supporter to the match yesterday, he commented the two best players on the pitch for us were Ameobi and Oztumer, based on the fact they both wanted the ball and tried to go forward with attacks, when it was left to the other midfielders, we looked to go either sideways or backwards. He didn't think there was much between us an Swansea, but wondered what said we were very much entrenched in playing one way, our formation and tactics didn't change the whole 90 minutes

It’s only cause we care about the club we get like this but the big boys who get paid  make these decisions let’s hope it all ends well

I'd like the Cowleys from Lincoln

Is the correct answer!!!

Unfortunately I think that they’ll get better offers than us

The 4 home defeats without scoring were against teams that will not finish top 6 IMO.

Hull, Blackburn, Forest & Swansea.

All with very poor away records before they came here too.

Worrying isn’t the word......

If we were relegated with players too good for the third tier, which championship clubs are they now playing for

It's a fucking myth from the hard of thinking

Not really

Depends how much they were offering etc

I bet when we started league one you thought we had to be one of the favourites to go up

Plus you see it countless times in players too good for the championship but not good enough for the premier league

As I said earlier, we could easily lose our next 6

Tricky few in their

Norwich is the stand out hard one, Leeds are Leeds hit and miss

brentford not firing

if we can’t get some points from Millwall sheff Wednesday & Wigan then not good

then the blockbuster on Boxing Day Rotherham

No way that was 14k

It's 14k tickets sold (13,300 in our end), it's not numbers who turn up, so 14k can't be far off assuming we've got around 10k season tickets.

Lowe is consistent, he's neither great nor terrible.

He can't head for shit though!

I quite like Lowe, he has a great battling attitude, is fairly athletic and is an upgrade on pratley. However it's another midfielder that simply doesn't have a goal or assist in him. Spearing had that potential to unleash a 20 harder or an effective pass. I'd have him back tomorrow and give him the captain's armband. Embarrassing to have your goalie as captain when he is hardly involved.

Will Buckley is never a winger in a million years.

He’s incredibly slow. Doesn’t have skill to go past anyone and can’t cross. He contributes nothing in a team where anyone decent would stand out a mile.

I have absolutely no idea how he managed a decent season at Brighton or where ever it was.

He can’t have been on the wing.

I agree, I just can't for the life of me see how he was ever rated above Div 1. Same with Wildschut, Andy Taylor, Pratley and Madine. I look at Hobbs and Donaldson and immediately see there's a championship player there, even if they are over their peak years. Buckley never in a million years, yet another example of Parky seeing something we don't see.

Correction

He got results with madine in the team.

After that it was ameobi and the forest match.

Madine was part of the problem. We had that run of 8 straight defeats with him leading the line. Awful player. ALF and Ameobi saved us despite Parky. He thanked ALF by encouraging him to leave so hopefully he will now leave also.
