F1 is back

Looking forward to this season

Changes to the front wing supposed to mean more overtaking - lets see

Tyre compounds simplified

Just sat down to watch recording of qualifying. Be interesting to see if Hamilton still dominant but Red Bull the big curiosity for me this year. Will they move forward or slip back into the pack?

That's an even more impressive win then. The other fellas all had cars.

I think over time he's earned most of that luck. He earned his place in the best car by excelling in lesser ones. He gambled on Mercedes when they weren't the finished article. Today with pole he mayb

Bottas rarely starts well

That first corner will be messy.

Perez may have the Mexican gods smiling down on him tomorrow

Bottas could do a great job for Lewis tomorrow

Oh and Horner is still a cock

Not surprised at all. He’s shown this season that whilst being an utterly fantastic driver he’s still not quite mature. He really is the future of F1 but needs reigning in a bit imo

Bottas will do fuck all for Lewis. He has a point to prove and I can’t really blame him

Horner can disappear up his own glory hole

Ha. Would love to have seen him in a McLaren, Ferrari or Alphatauri next season to see how good he actually is. Sadly he’ll disappear in the Alfa and we’ll never really know how good he was

I like Bottas. Was hoping he’d go to Ferrari or mclaren

He deserves better than Ferrari.

They’ll be strong next year.

Bottas will never be classed as a “great” driver because too often there was a big gap between him and Lewis and other drivers in other cars between them

On his day he could outperform Lewis but he was never consistent in what was ultimately the best car

I’m with you there. Won’t be winners but will be strong. But will be outperformed by McLaren imo

Merc have held back this year with so much focus on next years car. Obviously the rules changes could Throw up some major surprises but I will be surprised if anyone gets close, even Red Bull. Although I’ve loved this season and hope they do

also would love to see Ferrari back up challenging again. In le clerc I think they’ve got an exceptional driver.

Le Clerc and Russell have huge huge potential which is exciting for the future,  but i see Merc RB and McLaren being the top 3 next year.

Max has to deal with the pressure now and that’s what makes motorsport so interesting

Bottas applied the brakes so early

Interesting grid for tomorrow. First corner could be utter carnage. Long straight. Max in 3rd getting a tow from Bottas. Can see Lewis compromised. Could define the race. Toto could be correct with his Prost/Senna comment earlier this week. Hope not. Looks a decent track for a good race

Was always going to happen at the first corner. Great manoeuvre from Max. Yeah Bottas seemed to brake very early

All races are Sunday evening for me. Record them, stay away from media and watch as live with a few beers. Very civilised

To let Hamilton through probably, but no way should he have let Verstappen past. Him and Hamilton could have moved slightly left and boxed him in.

Seriously, Bottas proper gets the yips when he’s on pole.

Haven’t seen it as was driving home but listened on wireless and sounds like bottas got his positioning all wrong and then got braking point wrong in an attempt to let Lewis past whilst not realizing he’d left the door wide open for max.

tbf lewis could have managed that by moving his own position to force bottas across and keep the door closed.

Max wins in Brazil as well unless something untoward happens. Writing is on the wall here

The gap Bottas left you could have got the rest of the pack through. Sideways.

Bit dull that. Bit of a procession and no decent midfield action. Not a good track for overtaking. Won at the first corner that race. Well done Max.

The first 4 corners are so tight then it’s stretched out. No chance for long slip stream. Not great for racing.

Lets stick this here

That bloke who does comms on F1 on sky is utterly fucking dreadful

His insight goes no further than undercut and overcut

Hes shit

Eni aluko and sue smith couldnt be any worse

Aye, Bottas should have used a low block on Verstappen.

Tbh have a bit of a concern these days. Good, fast tracks like here, Monza and Silverstone have become a bit dull and processional. Slightly worried that we’re going back to those days between Prost/Senna and the emergence of Hamilton when F1 was a bit shit for a few years livened only by Schumacher. No knee jerk needed at the moment but folk will get turned off if it continues too long
