Stems from studying the Baltics at College I just cannot see Putin leaving office having not reclaimed them. He's determined to leapfrog Lenin/Stalin as a true Russian icon.

This would help to stabilise the European-UK economy. If Putin wants to roll his tanks then we can put up a token political fight but no fisticuffs please

He fears assassination so will want to secure his legacy soon.

April 2, 20215 yr From what I can see the eastern European states have contributed little except cheap unskilled labour exploited by the likes of Mike Ashley, Philip Green and their like. So he can have them back. But will he accept such an offer? Putin needs to destabilise Europe as much as he can and the continuing incorporation of these states will further economically affect the European states
