Buying a bike

Go a proper independent bike shop who will advice you on what you need and not Halfrauds who will sell you some shite.

If you are looking for a road bike I can recommend Specialized but make sure what they sell you is the right size and fit. A correctly fitted bike will make your cycling so much more fun.

No, I’ve some Lycra shorts with the ball bag protector, checked out the full length job that’s like leotard, £100 so fucked that off. Looked at a magnetic bottle carrier and bottle it was £30 so that was also fucked off.

Just had a look as was intrigued

expensive kit some of them

suppose if you utilise well it keeps you fit

For me it’s vital I’m struggling to walk more than 2 miles as I’m waiting for hip op, cycling 20 miles plus gives me less pain and eats the calories.
