Its a problem because protest will become meaningless and saturated, as stated, simple really.

To Protest used to mean something, now it's become a day out, all different factors of society hijacking them and detracting away from what something that could be worthwhile and all for a decent cause.

Name a protest that "meant something" to you. I guarantee, everyone else who wasn't interested thought it was "meaningless".

When these anti-protest proposals become legislation, they are permanent.

That's a different argument altogether. It's a poorly thought out piece of legislation - but I thought the police were quite right to break things up last night.

Not everyone agrees about the same things, I don't protest, but i also wouldn't stop someone from protesting, as long as that is what they were doing... protesting and NOT rioting.

What some might think are meaningless, some will think its worthwhile.

Let's not forget, last night on Clapham common was a VIGIL, a VIGIL for a girl who was brutally murdered, yet some decided to force their own agenda, and that's shocking.

So a VIGIL would've been in accordance with Covid regulations?

Just catching up on this. Don’t think I’ll go any further.
You obviously didn’t get the memo about the bigger picture.

Sadly that actually makes it even worse

Have you checked in on your fluffer cheesey?

Sorry I missed the joke. Was it a joke? This did start off as a thread about the tragic death of a young woman. I’ll leave it at that. You can carry on.

Not a "tragic death", like an accident or a suicide. She was murdered by a man.
