I don't have an "issue" with your opinion. I'm just intrigued when the first thought someone jumps to when they see a photo of a woman being detained by police at a vigil/protest/whatever is "This is obviously staged!!". I'd just like to understand how they come to that instant conclusion, and why they think someone who would go through all the effort to "stage" something in that way. That's all.

The British public have demonstrated/protested/held vigils after the murder of a fellow citizen for centuries - especially when it's been at the hands of a 'public servant'. You might not like it, but the attention it draws tends to slowly nudge things forward for the better of society. If this sort of public display becomes outlawed, as it is in the likes of Russia and Saudi Arabia, we're all fucked. The law currently being shoved through Parliament has nothing to do with Covid.
