If anything, there's been too many changes

We will go to the windies and do well

Then we will have a good summer...but until we get a couple of reliable openers, we have a problem

It's gone on too long

West indies are shite

We will do ok in English conditions in the summer (Nothing special)

It will all be forgotten and the ECB will move onto more of the hundred and other box ticking shit ๐Ÿ‘

  • Notwithstanding all of the above, reasoned, comments, the ECB needs to put test cricket where it belongs, as top priority.

  • ๐Ÿ˜Š Yep. He missed the first over due to a 4 hour wait for his PCR test. Cummins will still be there.

  • If itโ€™s anything like this, it should be good.๐Ÿ˜Š ย

England team displaying the worst use of a bat since the Wuhan food market.

I would rather watch a great TM than a great T20 or ODI.

Nearly 70,000 at the MCG the other day. There would have been 25,000 England fans there also if they had been allowed to travel. Youโ€™re ย entitled to your opinion but crowd numbers would suggest your wrong. Iโ€™ll be at the SCG and Hobart for 4 days each (if they make it to 4) Still looking forward to them though despite the last couple of weeks.ย

I wasnโ€™t planning on being up to watch it, but a refreshing change.

Sounds like plenty of Brits in the ground and some value for you.ย

Yep. Went to the pub at lunch and considered not going back. Glad we did. Great afternoon and evening sessions. Small wins but very welcome. ๐Ÿ‘

5 of the top 7 scored 25 between them. Poor again.

๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘ Hobart next.

Fifth day. Well, well. Had other plans but weโ€™ll have to go again. You never know.๐Ÿคž

Fingers crossed for you.

Forecast is a bit mixed they said this morning, so I doubt there's time enough for an England win. (Putting aside the quality question).

A draw would be a fantastic resultย

not many in the ground

3 down, going to be tough.

Pissed off Crawley got out, he was looking good

Oh dear

End of Buttler in tests?

Didnโ€™t want to see Jimmy batting

Well at least it wonโ€™t be 5-0. Small slice of satisfaction. Sends them to Hobart with a bit more confidence

You'll need to use a microscope to see that confidence. We were yet again a distant second in that match. Be glad when the series is over if I'm honest.

Been here before with Buttler. May have a decent forthcoming season and be OK again.

Never had the required level of consistency in test matches for me, which is a shame becasue he's a talent.

I think I believe in him more than he does

So confident in the one day format.ย

Perhaps he should just stick with that.

He looks so glum playing tests.

I do think he can do it, but Iโ€™m not sure he does.

Just thought I'd check as it came as a surprise to me..

You're supposed to get a PCR test 72 hours before travelling to Tas. Proof of negative test apparently not required but guess they may do random checks.ย

I'm travelling (via ferry) on 16th so may make Day 4. In this series I'm not banking on it lasting that long ๐Ÿ˜†
