that's who I've bought for, love the new song, Rianne Downey is brilliant

While we’re having a moan about gigs

WTF is wrong with people thinking their conversation is more interesting than the band? Last night saw local band showcase night and persuaded the coked up yoofs to move to the bar but there were gaggle of milfs (who turned out were mothers of band members) who were relentless with their chatter with accompanying insta-hand gestures.

She's mint aint she, watched them last year with her on vocals. Is she still touring with them then?

It's a disease. Can't stand it. People are even at it at acoustic gigs. Seen John Bramwell bollock audience members a few times.

2 lasses were chatting away at the Skindred in-store acoustic show at Wax And Beans, Benji had a pop at them and they just hid for the rest of the set. Dunno if they went back for the signing

I thinking get where you’re coming from, but one band I’m meh about. A couple of anthems- my mates fucking funeral song ffs, but just find Danny to be a bit whiny. Like an edgy northern Coldplay. One Big Family is more my brew.

I saw Embrace at Piece Hall a few years back. It's a great venue. It was about the 4th or 5th time I'd seen Embrace and tbh Danny's voice has been worse each time, so I'd not bother again.

Piece Hall is a great venue indeed, but I concur that Embrace are a spent force.

2nd time Ive been to piece hall. What a superb venue and actually love the town itself. Great bars and vibe, loved it.

Embrace were superb. Danny's voice has never been the best but it's that shit it's good. The crowd just help him out ha

55 now and looked pissed as a fart at the end.

Had some troubles and half going on recently, fuck me I needed that last night, especially with my bro. Belting out lager fuelled anthems doesn't half get rid of some grief.

Piece Hall is shit when it's raining.

Quite like Halifax as a town, done a fair bit of work round Calderdale. A trip to Discount Barry's is a must too.

Best/worst thing I saw in Halifax was in the wetherspoons

Upstairs bit around 8pm a woman throwing up on the floor whilst her mate pats her back

It has a large staircase going down to the main bit

They are going down very slowly, holding onto the bannister as they are shitfaced

Whole pub realises this as they make their way down, cheering them on

They make it to the bottom to huge applause then leave flicking the V's at everyone
