Smiley Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Big Sam: We Need Positive Support ?? SAM ALLARDYCE has called for a positive reaction from Bolton Wanderers supporters after a small percentage of the home crowd jeered his players during Saturday's home defeat against Portsmouth.?? Erm, sorry if this sounds negative Mr. Allardyce, but we were hopeless against a poor side. If we cannot vent our anger at piss poor performances, the players will never learn. Play shit = get booed. Play well = get cheered. surely the players want the latter ALL THE TIME.
Casino Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 i don't think we were shite, and neither does sam thats his point
Smiley Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 well I may be on my own then, but I don't recall being on the edge of my seat riveted to an all-time classic at the Reebok last Saturday. Just my opinion. (and I didn't boo for the record).
Casino Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 fair enough, but you've seen enough shite to know that what was served up wasn't real shite point i'm making is that most folk just react to the result saturday was no worse than palace in fact it was no worse than birmingham prob no worse than villa for what its worth, i dont really have a problem with folk booing at the end anyway, if they really think its justified i object more to it during the game from where i'm sat, the loudest noise coming from the east stand these days is abusing nicky hunt now that can't be good just my opinion
Horwich Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 we will be shagged this weekend. nicky at right back and barness at left back
Casino Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 what about Cesar? seconded barness will never be more than a stop gap at left back, but cesar ought to be good enough to make the position his
Guest Biff Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 I'm not sure Cesar can keep concentrating for ninety minutes which leads to him making mistakes. Perhaps that is why he has had so many clubs and perhaps Sam has already come to this conclusion.
ex_midlandwhite Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 what about Cesar? seconded barness will never be more than a stop gap at left back, but cesar ought to be good enough to make the position his Yup, also good enough to take Gardners place and he won't be getting it back quickly either
Casino Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 if he's better than gardner town hall steps come to mind however, if he is, then great we can get gardners pace somewhere it can damage the opposition
ex_midlandwhite Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Can't remember the last time gardner damaged the opposition to be fair
Guest harv Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Problem is Ricardo daren't take a man on at left back cos if he loses the ball were knackered. [-o< Still think he should be played as a winger as he has licence to take people and knows he will have cover behind him. :D/
Garrp Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Jesus Wepps Name me a better defender at the club than Gardner this season. Didn't think you could
