How much did the club miss out on last Saturday with away fans having nowhere to drink?

Something as simple as a marquee selling plastic bottles would have been a money spinner.

I think the club should buy Missoula/Scotts/whatever and turn it into a fan bar.

I think they should do something (if possible) with the offices in the North stand. Buy em back or sommat.

Although Scotts bar is a good location too.

Fuck it. Buy em both.

Away fans in a marquee on the away end is perfect for big followings like we had on Saturday.

where would you stick in on the  Away car park

and if wind was out like weekend it would end up on the 61

Even if it's as simple as what Wycombe do for us with that marquee, it's probably not so simple with regulations etc but seems common sense to have something like that

Junior gets up at 6.45am every morning to leave the house at 7.15am to go to sixth form.

Wife has the car on Tuesday nights for work, but if I can borrow my lad's car, we'd get home at 10.45pm-ish after an 8pm KO, so we don't normally bother.

Public transport just doesn't work at all at that time of night for us.

The fact that you can get most matches on iFollow for a tenner, pulling your tripe out to get to a cold wet UniBol for a Tuesday night match is not worth the faff.

You cant really slag the owners off. I am sure its on a long “to do” list.

I’m sure there’s a reason for it but there Beehive being an away pub does my head in.
Get them a marquee and get them supping on our dollar

Not sure the situation with Barnstormers as well

Correct. I don't think the owners are getting slagged off, it's just that the fans (on here anyway) were only bothered about new signings yesterday, we've come down now and need to focus on something else.

A cold wet 8:00 ko on Tuesday night ? That'll do.

Nobody's slagging the owners off, 8pm KO has been a bugbear since forever.
We weren't slagging Eddie or Ken off about them either.

It's this is bi-polarways, but you can say you're not entirely happy about something without it being a direct attack on someone else.

Barnstormers won be open this year.

Just think the club are missing a trick for some games per season.

Yeah it doesn’t have to be every game tonight for example there’s no point  , but if they come in their thousands then it makes sense to make some money off them

Was it because of the traffic around the 61? But surely that was because we were in the  prem. Not at Cambridge in league one ffs

It would certainly make me go. Getting home at gone 11 is too late for the lad.

And me...need my 8 hours :)

It always done my head. We are the only 8pm fixture most of the time.

Only us and Reading who are subject to compulsory 8pm starts in the entire country. Both well known hubs of traffic congestion 🙄
