Working from home makes a massive difference to me in Leeds, if I was In office in centre need to come home and pick up Yoof who works local.

Say I leave at 5 , be back home about 5:45, with traffic probably there for half 7. Match finishes at 10, home for about half 11.

Wfh means lot less hassle getting there. I have a 8 o'clock meeting tomorrow with some bloke in New Zealand on Zoom, so will be knackered, Thursday am in office so a much earlier start than usual. By the end of a week with a midweek game am fucked, then 10 o'clock train Saturday to the seaside.

The fact is you live outside Bolton night games are a real pain either getting there or getting back late. It is only an hour from Leeds people might think but from home takes me 20-30 minutes to get to motorway then M62 can be a real twat.

The big issue for me is the M62 being shut. It’s a race to beat the closure. Failure to do so means 1 am back home

Where’s it shut? Can’t you go via Skem up through M6 and either down M61 or cut through Charnock Richard services.

Yeah, I did it last week.

I used to, but then they put barriers up that required a keycode. They must have got rid of them again. Excellent. 👍

Did Mounts not tell you the key code ? He told Traf and I. All that name calling on the politics thread has come back to haunt you.

A nurse I know actually told me the code, but I never used it as I'm a law-abiding citizen.

It shuts around birchwood way.

The M6 route has been a nightmare for similar reasons in the past.

I am open to suggestions though and will try again.

if there's 2 goals in it, I'm starting to duck out on 85 minutes midweek

was home 30 mins earlier last time I did that

Not sure where you’re based now but think you are Liverpool way, head to M58 up the M6 jump off at Charnock service through Charnock Richard and pick up the Chorley ring road (B5251) up to the A6 through Adlington and on to the stadium.

Through Leigh is just over an hour. Similar time but 4 miles shorter. Boils down to where he’s based in Liverpool.

Dapo dapo so good they named him twice is b tech Okocha. Also liked "our mozza" for Morley. watching highlights of Saturday mozza showed some sublime touches.
