Waking Up From A Proper Vivid Dream.

Featured Replies

Normally I get little recollections of the stuff and forget, this morning I must have had the longest strangest dream I've ever had. I must be on my way out.

Suspect it's medication-induced, but I've been having incredibly realistic/vivid dreams every single night for a couple of years now. The best ones are when I realise it's a dream and I can do whatever I want. A very weird experience.

To cut along, strange dream short, I dreamt a scrawny pale ill looking bloke was following me. I kept stopping so he could pass me but he didn't. He chased me to big bright building where a nurse ran out and thanked me for coming.

Turned out  he wasn't chasing me, he was making sure I turned up. To give him blood.

Weird as fuck.

Fuck knows. But I've read that before. Or I've had Dejavu that I have.

I might have, but I can't recall how it would have come up on here.

It hasn't. Just done a search.

No, I've found it. Last September there was a Weird Dreams thread. I recounted more or less the same tale.

Sorry to shit you up.

I have dreams with my late old man and I'm usually consulting him about building maintenance.

:D

Sweet.

You need to go and give blood pal! 🤣

I have very clear dreams and remember them.  I had one where I was at a resort for a England away game, a plane landed and you could hear the shirties singing England songs.   It turned very sour and the police attacked the fans, they tied a rope around one fans ankles and dragged him by car past the bars we was drinking in, he was dead and didn’t have much skin left on him.

I’ve also had one where I’ve spoken to a deceased aunt who I was very close to and I didn’t have a clue what to talk about, she was under Fleetwood pier, ironically near to where she used to hire a hut on the front at Easter.

I did, but when I went my haemoglobin levels were too low so I couldn't donate .  Perhaps I had it wrong all along and I was the pale poorly looking bloke. Weirder and weirder, and to ramp up the weirdness even more this thread comes up, and I've got an appointment for my bloods tomorrow morning. Blood UK said I had to leave it 12 months and try again but my doctors said I could try again.

I've got ninety odd credits and I want to get my ton.

I had a very vivid dream tother night a very large angel stood over me staring me straight in the eye . I put it down to the banana I ate before bed . Either that or the Guinness 😐

Blame the banana.

Lucid Dreaming, I sometimes manage to find myself realising I'm dreaming and turning a usually weird as fuck experience into a relatively pleasant one.

The worst ones I get are the Sleep Paralysis ones that for some reason I get semi-regularly, where you almost essentially feel awake and in your surroundings but can't move or speak no matter how hard you try and there's usually some shadowy looming figure in the room or approaching. They aren't fun.

I have had to stop sleeping naked as I keep getting half way through a dream and suddenly realise I've no trousers on. It doesn't really matter to the dream that much but they all tend to end with me looking for some pants.

Ever dreamed you’ve just pissed yourself, woke up and anxiously felt the sheets, relieved it was just a dream?

Ahem! No, me neither. 🤣
