  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

I said society.

It's changing. Towns and areas are changing and not for the good.

I've been through it a million times what's going on in Blackpool and how the changes are affecting my livelihood as well as the local economy, house prices, businesses, hotels, b&bs and pubs.

That's just on tiny area on the fylde coast but it's widening in plain sight.

It's really not hard to see.

Yeah, I suppose it's obvious if you believe everything the Far Right says. Systemic poverty isn't an issue, and the vast majority of crime is committed by immigrants. 👍

Again

you are missing the point.

this is about a religious group growing and expanding in the UK. A religious group that struggles to integrate and always will because of its darker element.

Its a religion that utterly refuses to change simply because it’s expanding in a country that isn’t Muslim.

You can bark all day, it’s an issue that the bleeding hearts won’t fix.

and 6%?

look at the amount of religious attacks we’ve had here from 6%. Imagine what they number expand to with 40%.

Who said any of that?

I'm talking about societal issues I see daily that affects people's lives. Nothing to do with what the far right says.

Proper real life issues caused by pouring one set of folk into another and expecting everyone to live happily ever after.

By George you haven't half got this wrong.

" Had enough of immigration in this country, I'm going to move to another!" (oh the irony btw).

Australia is 3.5% Muslim and this has doubled every 10 years

Canada is 5% and has nearly double every 10 years

United Kingdom is 6.4% (and took nearly 20 years to double..)

The irony being that they will then come back and want a UK pension and access to the NHS.

Media is blowing this well out of proportion and people are just lapping it up.. yes the system needs sorting in some way, but we're no different to other countries.

Why aren’t other religions in the spotlight?

Judaism is present in the UK yet I can’t think of a single issue they have caused. Likewise Hindus, seikhs, rastas.

Islam has a lot of dangerous baggage that British people simply don’t want on their doorstep

It’s a problem in those countries too.

Christian, or non-religious nations have shown over the years their ability and willingness to move with the times, adapt to more liberal viewpoints.

Islam will not budge, and the spectre of severe punishment exists for any of its followers that do not comply.

It’s backwards and not in keeping with a 21st century, liberal nation.

No, but it's no coincidence that you're all parrotting what you're being fed.

Again

Im basing this on what I see.

if you say 6%, then I say that’s fine.

If you’d bother to actually understand what we’re saying, you’d realise we’re talking about the future. 20/30/40 years from now.

If the % is exponentially increased, so are the issues from a religion that will never change.

As things stand, we are being given plenty of advance warning. Ignore it at our peril.

Probably. So what? Do you think the non-Muslim population in Britain will grow over the next 30 years?

I've gone through them in my particular town.

Have a drive into Nelson or up Halliwell Road and have a look yourself.

Just remember your area could look like that in a few years 👌

Gonzo by name, Gonzo by nature eh? With fact-finding journalism of that quality (driving through a couple of shithole towns), who needs GBNews?

And what have you seen?

Shitholes all over the country. Caused by decades of neglect and austerity.

How much does it cost to tidy up the street in front of your house?

Those other countries with the same problems.

It isn't a purely Muslim issue neither.

It is cultural, and that may include Muslims.

The poverty argument back in again I see.

Look at old photos from back in the day.

Not a piece of litter. There was poverty then, and arguably far more widespread.

Poverty doesn't prevent pride in oneself, your society and environment.

The definition of poverty is a load of guff anyway. Every person in the country could be a millionaire, and by the official definition, there would still be a lot of poverty.

Yet some of the most popular purveyors of these ideas now reside in the United Arab Emirates - and claim it's the cleanest, safest place in the world? How odd.

When was "back in the day"? Are you talking about a time when people didn't have anything to throw away, other than organic waste?
