  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

You Get rattled dead easy, don’t.

Youve still not provided evidence of billionaires telling us what to say and think - and you’re the biggest advocate on here for demanding proof and/or evidence on any statement. So let’s see it.

Otherwise, just accept that we all live different lives, and see and interact with different parts of society that you clearly don’t.

We can’t all be wrong. And you aren’t either. But it’s time you realised that these issues are discussed ad nauseum because they are a fact. They are real, they exist. Read the room.

Just because you haven’t experienced them, doesn’t mean they’re made up.

When was "back in the day"? Are you talking about a time when people didn't have anything to throw away, other than organic waste?

Think it's when a joint of beef had to last a family of 4 3 days.. mass malnourishment and no disposable income.

The situation is far from ideal and parts of this town have changed massively and are intimidating to walk through. The people who live there might be salt of the earth but it's still intimidating. I wouldn't walk down Chorley Old Rd,  or Deane Rd at night. Halloween Rd isn't too bad nor Blackburn Rd.

There's issues in all walks if life, when I was on recovery work and based around Kersall and Prestwich a few days that was evident.

Until an MP or government comes up with a plan that's not simply "tell people they're racist" or "send them back" the segregation and lack of integration from SOME communities won't improve, and I'm including the White British in with that.

Safest for men? :)

Remember a couple of weeks ago when you were outraged about a "Sharia Law" job on the .gov website, because Farage tweeted about it? And it turned out to be a pretty meaningless community role that had nothing to do with the Government. But of course, you're not influenced by the Far Right media.

Yep

On a temporary 2 year visa to begin with

Go and try it out for a couple of years, other half can get to know her dad and other side of her family which is the main reason but there's so much opportunity for us as a family and the promise od a great quality of life, particularly for my girls

See what it looks like in two years

Might come back, dunno

You only live once, so might as well try it

One downside is midweek games kick off about 5 or 6 in the morning

Word of advice, dont sell your house in the UK ..... just in case , but apart from that, go for it

Well, after a 2 nil win, it seems Spider has changed after years of being a ginger lefty like Neil Kinnock.

Gonzo saw the light after a decade of wrangling on here......thank me later George Formby 😉

Cheese will no doubt change in a few decades, but still argue the toss ☺

Hopefully this copper won’t be sacked for applying common sense. What a complete waste of police time.

He is a complete imbecile. There's plenty of them about. It's how we have arrived at the point we have.

Not just my experience but plenty I know down here spread all over the country (mainly WA, NSW, Qld and Vic) have experienced the same thing. The missus.

They never cut the apron strings. Mother and sisters are like an irresistible magnet to them. Took 7 years before my missus finally referred to here as 'home'.

I had a mate from Sale who had a business based only on repatriating unsettled Brits. One from Oldham did it four times before finally setting here in a place called Australind. Still tells me that his missus "cost me a fucking fortune" when I catch up with him now and again.

On a slightly different note, you wouldn't believe how many folk I know who have originally gone to Queensland but relocate to WA as they can't stand the humidity. Four in our scooter club alone. It's a common theme.

Everything is better in WA in my opinion. Opportunity, climate, standard of living.

Obviously family considerations in your case are the driver.

Only time of year here which is unpleasant is summer. And even that isn't too bad. Going for a jog in summer is hard work. It rains more here but it tends to be short intense showers

I was disappointed in Perth's climate. Winters are cold and wet. Remember watching an AFL game on TV in September..it was cold in Perth. Every fucker in the Brisbane crowd was in T-shirts (2 hrs later in the evening as well). Summers are sunny but often brutal. When it gets to 35+ regularly, sod that.

In Perth it's literally a flight to go anywhere.

That said I think it's still the nicest city in Australia.

Gold Coast in October for me.
