It's such a strange story this. I was reading about it the other day. Didn't he also claim he'd made millions of pounds by doing a 600 mile charity run (before it was revealed that there were actually loads of them doing it and he's only run a small part of it)?

Two of our grandsons are dropped at a female only staffed day care centre for one day per week. If there were male staff there, they wouldn't be going.

At what age do you think it's acceptable for them to be around males then? - You don't want any male school teachers I assume, until what age though, secondary school? - I know you like football, so I'm surprised that you don't like the idea of these under 4's & under 5's set up either, where they learn how to play - as they're generally managed/coached by males. I guess they all need sacking and replacing by females, but that will take time, and it's also presuming that women want to do this.

I don't disagree that it's probably preferential for children, in their formative years, to be around women, but let's not pretend that women aren't capable of abuse as well. Also, and I hate to break this to you, not all males, when around small children, get the urge to nonce them. Maybe just better vigilance and safeguarding, rather than banning half of the world from looking after children is the right answer.
