Sorry to hear about that. I know of others with similar stories but by other providers. I rarely use online shopping. Only if there isn’t a local option. Not wanting to hijack a genuine grievance but I’m one of a dying breed that shops local wherever possible. If you have been ripped off, I’m sure others have also and they won’t last long. Trouble is, they’ll turn up in a different guise. caveat emptor. Quote

Whitestar Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Also avoid DISCOUNT HEADPHONES. They also advertise other electronic products, my Wife lost £300 on a Dyson Hairwrap. SCAM . Trust pilot also removed my review as it was derogatory but allow allow their fake reviews. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) I ordered a product from an online market place. Day later, an email came saying the product had been sent and their bit was done. Any issues to be dealt with by contacting the actual vendor. It didn't arrive so I contacted the vendor. They said that there was an issue and they might not be able to fulfill the order, and they'd ring back. They didn't so I rang again. This time they confirmed they couldn't supply it. Demand had meant they had to order direct from manufacturer in Holland, and the last one they had was damaged in transit. I asked fora refund and after a couple of days the money was back. Later that day I received a message from a delivery company saying the product was on its way. Within a couple of hours the product that wasn't available and that I'd been refunded for, duly arrived. Some very minor damage and completely functional. And totally free. In't milk brill! Edited October 11, 2022 by Tonge moor green jacket Quote

Sorry to hear this, it’s soul destroying. I got scammed with five others on Twitter off a lad selling trainers, sold us all the same pair. Luckily we didn’t give in and hunted him down, we hounded him and we all got our money back with a big sloppy apology, blamed his gambling addiction. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I sold 10k of towels to a new customer, goods arrived at the address and the driver rang to say the road was closed and he was diverted to cash & carry on the corner, needless to say we didn’t get paid, it’s fucking annoying getting scammed, luckily I made double sure we were insured before shipped the gear, some right cunts out there.
