Fundraising Request

Fellow Wandererswayers, I am looking for your support again please.

8 weeks today I will be doing my first ever half marathon along the front at Blackpool to raise funds for Sense.

Sense are completely reliant on charity donations to exist and provide the support they give to families like us. Erin, my youngest daughter, is registered Deafblind and the support we are given by Sense is invaluable to us as a family. From help, support and advice through to organising sibling weekends for Abbie to attend and spend time with other kids in the same positions, right through to legal advice and support such as our recent battle on school placing.

I know everyone has their own favoured charity with good reason, if you could find even just a couple of pound to support this fantastic organisation it will be greatly appreciated and will certainly help me around the 13 miles.

Thank you

Flat as a pancake mate

Start at the Hilton near North pier, all the way down the front past pleasure beach as far as squires gate lane, turn around and go all the way back past the Hilton up to Cleeveleys, turn around and back down the front to the Hilton.

Decent course, be quick if the wind isn't too bad

We've walked further for a pint with Gonzo.

And at least you're finishing as the marathoners are still going... (Although I was overtaken a few times last year)

If it's for the group that support your daughter, Mike, then I'm in.

Amazed at people's generosity, thank you everyone who has donated.

4 1/2 weeks to go, best get some proper training in!

Yes you had because obviously we'd all want refunds if you didn't finish. B-)
