  1. I know some people set up RIP pages for people they know who have passed away as a place where people can write their thoughts and talk about their grief together... but I'm always shocked how fast people create them. Is that the first thing they think after hearing the sad news? 'I'm sorry to hear it, I'll go and create a group on facebook' ?
  2. you'd probably still eat it. Goat muncher. (and I know I've gone off topic. Sorry MWD)
  3. OFF TOPIC!!! ( Bolton Wanderers v Liverpool Alan Wiley Shaun Procter-Green and Andy Halliday 4th Official - Mark Haywood )
  4. If only he had a pocket on his shirt....!
  5. Can someone else do the 'Ref for Saturday' thread because I keep forgetting. (Blame it on the age!) For anyone who cares, the ref yesterday was mike jones from chester
  6. are you going to buy yourself a new laptop?
  7. It took til the second half for me to realise how many players were on the pitch! I know sometimes when you're playing someone it can feel like you're playing against 12! Did anyone went the legends in white to win more than the legends in yellow?
  8. It was more entertaining to watch than the 'main' match!
  9. Mounts Kipper Ex-Leeds (funnily enough!)
  10. I'm glad someone else saw that! Being a peasant and not having Sky+, i put it down to too much southern comfort
  11. did anyone tell the players it was a family fun day either?
  12. If virgin trains are up to their normal tricks, I might take you up on that (+ 3)
  13. I think it is quite sad that some people from wigan only ever leave here for their annual holiday to Blackpool/Benidorm. People who leave and try and better themselves are almost frowned upon.
  14. He's back in the Uk now... least he seems to think so
  15. http://www.drinkaware.co.uk/tips-and-tools/drink-diary/ This may just be the most depressing website ever! More depressing than when I found out the nutritional content of a meatball sub! I worked out the drinks I had last night are more than I should have in a week. And I didn't think it was a particularly heavy night. Would have been worse if I'd gone to Germany I suppose.
  16. He doesn't look at all well, hope he can appreciate the match though
  17. Thas bin dun. Thas dint work.
  18. And they don't have streakers (or even the word Streaker) in Germany!
  19. I'll try and translate that last wigan-ese sentence I have been thinking. Why doesn't Wanderersways do more displays, or even use the persuasion of its members to get what fans want from their club?
  20. Me too. Envy those women who walk in them as if they are slippers. Unfortunately, it seems the taller you are the easier it is to walk in them.
  21. what size is your ring, sue? (where is the chilidish snigger smiley?)
  22. alibob replied to a post in a topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
So did my dad, I wonder if more than 12 people entered?
