Right. The wife's car needs about ?1000 of work doing to it. Peugeot 307 HDI 51 plate, 81000 miles on clock. It's already had: New gearbox and clutch Particulate filter (christ what a rip off they are) And needs: Brakes discs and pads all round Alternator Fly wheel. Is it worth doing the work? Cant really afford more than ?1000 to add to the trade in for this. My opinion is that if we have the work done we get a car that should now last another couple of years, plus we know what it has/has not had done. Am I right?

Agree. Cohen was poor last night imo (and I thought Taylor was absolutely garbage, but that's for another thread!) If it does not come off how about SKD for the "hole"? He seems to be the only player at the moment who can play an attacking pass.
