Unfortuatly for Clunes he is up against Leonard Rossiter and just because of that he is on a loser. Rossiter was the perfect person for this role and no one could improve on that. Clunes hasn't really got close. Rightly or wrongly, and I don't know about anyone else, but when I watch this new series i'm comparing it to the old one all the time. What next a remake of It Ain't Half Hot Mum or Are You Being Served? some things are better left untouched. Perrin is one of them.

no not really. itk was first set up so 'muck' could be put on the site. itk has evolved in to something else and who knows who's reading it now. the intensions of the new forum, i would assume, are generally honourable and not as much of a closed shop as i seemed to be pointing out. but the cliquey perception has just been magnified. anyway, i, as well as you, are probably not missing out on much but it has alianated us a little.

now to a degree i do understand why vitk has been set up, the reason does seem simple. but, it does create a us and them mentality. i've been a member of WW since the very early days and i don't really know any posters on this forum and i'm hardly prolific with posts. but because of this it does seem that i have no chance what-so-ever of being accepted in to this new secret society. this is a genuine question, and i'm not looking for a fight, but what is the criteria to get in or to be invited in to the forum? is it just a matey gathering and no outsiders are wanted? or can someone like me, who has never shared a beer with any of the WW top brass (who ever they are), ever get in?
