  1. 1pm(ish) train from bolton and then i'll see what accurs. like dannyG said , it's going to get messy.
  2. i think if it was going to come back then it would have done so by now. would be nice if someone in authority could confirm or deny this. over to you happy.
  3. I don't know about you but i do all of the above all of the time. lets get wrecked!
  4. use a mars bar - It helps me, makes me, work rest and play !
  5. Touched upon in another thread but I think there must be enough material on this subject to warrent it's own thread. Did Burnley one night match when McGinlay scored the winner in the 2nd half. Didn't celebrate when it went in but stood out like a sore thumb due to the fact that no matter how much you try you do give out little messages throughout the match that you ain't local. messages like when the home team go close in an attack and you don't go oooooh! also done Bradford (twice), Wigan (who hasn't), Brentford and probably a couple more that i can't think of.
  6. i agree with your sentiments but we didn't get where we are today by buying british talent. stelios, okocha, djorkaeff, freddie bobic, fernando hiero and even bernard mendy added to bwfc. mix and match that's what we need to do.
  7. tis only round the corner get you arse there and see what happens.... i went all the way to marseille without a ticket.
  8. knowing you now i still wouldn't open the door.
  9. give that man the feedom of boton.
  10. i refer you to the answer i gave on zozzy's thread... and i'm not a liar.
  11. was a big improvment on the last game but for me bolton are thinking about sunny beeches and cocktails at dawn rather than kicking the feck and beating the opposition.
  12. maybe, just maybe the chairman has more faith than the fickel fans. personaly i think gibson is a goog chairman but only time will tell if the support is right. i don't give a f u c k either way but gibson is the sort of chairman most clubs could do with.
  13. it might be a quid to get in but, most importantly, how much will the ale be once you are in ? last time i went on one of these freebie/quid entry do's they search bags but not all. i didn't get searched but i didn't have any ale on me. I did have vodka and some spirits in a few Buxton Spring bottles though.
  14. its shite and i know it is! the present one is awfull, the new one is worst. i disagree with the people who say it doesn't matter what the the shirt looks like - 'it's the team we support' they would say. does over a hundered years of tradition count for nowt ? subtle changes yes, but lets get back to a white shirt without any major surgery on an icon of the town.
  15. and burnley isn't a good day on the train ? had lots of fun there when the train to the strain burnley for me but i wouldn't be that dissapointed if the tykes joined us in the prem.
  16. words fail me but carlos sums up what I think of you and your plan. Firstly I want Burnley to go up and i think most bolton fans would want that too. Secondly, anyone who would rather us lose a match, no matter how meaningless, so that someone else could benifit is an absolute w a n k e r of the highest order.
  17. NB i think you will find he was actually correct with 18k. i don't care what the record books say but that attendance at the Darlington match back int 80's that bonfire night was exactly 18k.
  18. a team that had nothing to realy play for against a team who had got something to play for but are basically shite. was the most boring game of association football i have attended in a long time. i suppose you have to put up with games like this every now and again.
  19. best player, most famous player or the one who ripped us apart on the park ? some on here might say the best player to play against us is Tom Finney or Stan Matthews. and both have ripped us apart on the pitch. some of the names already mentioned on this thread are just famous players who have played against us and if that is the reason for this thread then fair enough. David Lee when at Bury always took the piss out of us as did Rodney Jack.
