  1. Didn't some get black marks on their credit files or did Littlewoods stop that threat?
  2. FFS is that supposed to cheer us up?
  3. I can see turnstyle madness If its anything like at the airport, the bar-code readers will not be able to read those DIY tickets printed in draft mode on crap home printers.
  4. Sofitel or Michelangelo anyone?
  5. Must be getting soft! Off to New York in July without the monsters for 3 nights with the Mrs. Too many hotels to choose from, so where better to go for recommendations then on WW! So, come on then lads and lasses - where have you stayed in The Big Apple and was it any good?
  6. Is the plastic red and Mr Pink having some of that too Bobcat?
  7. FFS was half of WW in Manchester drinking Jagermeister on Saturday night!! Desperado can tell you a few tales about Jagermeister but best not on here incase we get accused of drinking the footy beer kitty too quickly!!
  8. The Burnley fan at work is smiling as he went past my office 5 minutes ago. "where's all the big money signings Coyle was going to be making" he said twat Reports that Robbie Keane is on his way to Celtic on loan. Not the out-and-out striker that we need but he'll do a job until the summer?
  9. you haven't mentioned the hour or so in Panacea have you? oh shite
  10. Thinking about it your probably right. Didn't West Brom want 1M and we offered half that? or is 3M the minimum Megson paid for a defender?
  11. Coyle was asked about taking the Cup serious this year. His answer was along the lines of yes please.
  12. Sure i've read 3M agreed with WBA last summer. Now he's been replaced in the team by a right back, its a shame we didn't have a get out clause. It explains the delay in getting Wilshere in though.
  13. Gartside wouldn't have answered such a question last night. He was there to show willing with some good but short answers, for example when asked about Gary Megson's statement that he was told about the sale of Anelka to Chelsea in January on virtually his first day as manager - Gartside's answer was that was what Anelka may have said to Megson! You had to be there to realise that Gartside was not for any long answers last night. If he couldn't give an answer in 1 or 2 sentances then he passed the microphone to Owen Coyle.
  14. My Burnley colleague at work has said that this is typical Coyle. He's picked up on something trivial that the fans aren't happy with and he can see some easy brownie points in getting it sorted or pushed along with a helping hand to get it sorted. Appears we'll see plenty of these niceties from Coyle. The Burnley gob-shite was ofcourse, trying to take the piss but after 2 years of Megson's non-interaction with supporters, I'll enjoy the novelty whilst it lasts.
  15. Please clarify No Balls. Are you talking about the new away shirt is in production or another new home shirt?
  16. No but surely that would have fallen into the "pointless questions" bin. What would you expect Coyle or Gartside to say?
  17. If Nixon has reported it as a done deal, then it must be pretty much done. What time is the cut-off today for him being available to play tomorrow?
  18. Sluffy, I think you are spot on. Moonshift did increase their loan facilities for BWFC from GBP 7.5M to 60.5M. Mine was a loaded question, I am just amazed that Gartside hasn't made more of what a great financial position we are in.
  19. OK then, two simple questions: When was the last time Bolton kept the same away shirt, as their first choice away shirt, for more than one season? If they plan to keep the blue number as first choice away shirt for next season, why is it being sold at reduced prices in the club shop? As for Owen Coyle saying he's not a great fan of the current design, I would imagine if he pushes that point with those that make such decisions, then to bloody right he has the power to insist on a change.
  20. As is the norm, this seasons away one will become the 3rd choice kit - that's why even the club shop are discounting it. The home shirt should be around for at least another season, if not two BUT it was clear from Owen's answer last night, that he isn't a great fan of it! Read into that what you will.
  21. We'll see next August but the latest accounts do not read that we have no external debt. Bank Overdrafts 3.8M Bank Loans 20.1M I'm sure we would have heard something by now if all this had been cleared off our balance sheet since 30th June 2009 and converted into loans from Eddie Davies and his Moonshift Investments. IMO Gartside gave a smoke-and-mirrors answer to move the evening on to nice questions for Owen to take!
  22. Let's be honest, the HACIENDA was a shit hole. It's the same rose tinted glasses that people use to recall Burnden. yes it was great for its time, its atmosphere when full and great nights out but it / they were shit holes.
  23. The lad who asked the question about the current shirt missed the chance on the badge. Shirts are like fashion, some like them some don't. What unites us is the dislike for the corporate shite that we use for a badge. A lad on our table was going to ask it as part of a bigger question to Gartside but the restriction to only 3 questions after the break ruined any hopes of that!
  24. Not surprised by the time on the Nixon article. I'm guessing thats why the second half of the Fans Forum was so short last night, Coyle and Gartside had urgent business to attend to!?
  25. I wonder if they were at the Fans Forum last night. Coyle gave a hint that there is a dislike for the current number. Will Gartside take the flack with a third new home shirt in consecutive seasons?
