I think we may be arguing for the same cause - we (i.e. you) just haven't realised it yet. I said at the start that I could see what you are trying to do and the concept is sound. Get some sensible folk in there who would stir things up and make things happen (in other words, WWays types). You have just metioned two initiatives that clearly came from this board and it's taken the club an age to implement. Would have taken the likes of Traf etc. about a week and a half. The problem with your whole strategy, however, is the attempt to mix oil and water (i.e us and them). Won't happen. Bet thee a fiver. One of the main reasons is that them (the encumbents) have become stale and have lost sight of what they are supposed to represent and are 'pliable'. They will resist the roughnecks getting any say and upsetting the apple cart.

I can see what Mounts is trying to achieve here. Two fatal flaws I can see, however. 1) The real and true hardcore support of the type that frequent Wanderersways would almost certainly be frowned upon as undesirable roughnecks by that bunch of nerdlingers. A BWSA which genuinely reflected a true cross section of our supporters would be a good thing but I can't see the sanitised PC types allowing that to happen.

Me too. Well impressed with School Dinners (especially after the dogshit I gave up after one year and bussed home every day) and can't see what Oliver had to gain.
