  1. Condolences, sounds like Mr Onion Snr was a first rate bloke
  2. I'll forgive The Style Council. I'll forgive his last album. But that haircut...! And have a shave, you scruffy get! (not you Bolty).
  3. Or listened to 5 Live. He feckin hates us. Also, Lawrenson Pleat anybody who co-commentates with Alan Green and doesn't kill him.
  4. I know. I have my dinner some time betwen 12 and 1 usually. Should I have said 'lunch'?
  5. Bugger! How many off here were there that day, I wonder? I'm guessing a fair few. Am I right in remembering that the weather was fine and sunny in the morning, and only started snowing just before dinner time? Also seem to remember an orange ball.
  6. All the usual suspects (Gerrard, lampard, Ronaldo etc) have been mentioned, so you can perm as many as you like. How about that pompous, humourless fat Spanish waiter to manage your side though? With David O,Leary as his assistant, and Ken Bates as Chairman.
  7. Outstanding today, and has been pretty good all season. Anybody booing one of our players before or during a game is a mongtard of the highest order.
  8. Probably. But a fecking stupid and embarrassing one. Made us look like tw@ts.
  9. That's exactly what it was, still no excuse though bearing in mind the fact that they got in with two minutes to go and there was no noise. How could they not know? FWIW, the fans actually in the stand observed the silence impeccably.
  10. Trainee QS has now made brew, he will live to count beans another day. My mate has just come in asking if I want a drink now, its famine or feast in this place. Still bored.
  11. Corned beef butties with mustard Bag of Seabrooks Ready Salted Apple Can of Diet Pepsi Finished about 20 minutes ago. Could do with a brew now, but will spit feathers all day before making one myself when its not my fecking turn. If the trainee QS from the office next door doesn't get his finger out there is going to be trouble. God I'm bored!
  12. Millentor Stadion - FC St Pauli, Hamburg Throstle Nest - Farsley Celtic. Twice
  13. Surely he got sacked by West Ham for not having enough flair? However, these things are relative, I suppose! I think that we are stuck with Megson for at least the rest of this season. Whether that is good or bad, we will see.
  14. What are we supposed to do, stay and watch the Arsenal fans celebrate? By the way, as the ground is non smoking, some of us head near the exits for a long awaited cig. How far from the ground do you live, by the way, I live 50 miles. After 38 years of going, I resent being called a C@unt by a C@nt like you!
  15. I agree with you Bolty, but the question is, who do we get who is better?
  16. My late and great old man reckoned that Tom Finney was the best player he ever saw, but thought that Duncan Edwards would have become a truly great player had he lived. he hated Utd (and Preston, obviously), but knew a good 'un when he saw one.
  17. I had them both in a correct score yankee along with Bosnia 7-0 Estonia and Finland 3-3 Germany. Lumped all the winnings on Poland winning the World Cup, buying money!
  18. The lad has always given of his best for us, he and Megson would both need to swallow a bit of pride, but it would be great if common sense prevailed and he came home. Would be surprised though.
  19. In one! He has had his critics and he is obviously a complete fruit loop but he is still, on his day, our most creative player by a mile. 2 questions. Why so cheap? Why the fook go there? Not exactly a step up, despite their good support. Also, can you imagine him out on the lash in Newcastle on a Saturday night (which he will inevitably do, he can't help himself). He will get absolutely tw@tted!
  20. I bought some Morrisons own brand once. Fook me, it was like Reservoir Dogs!
  21. Is he any good, the boy Setanta? 2 goals, maybe we should put a bid in.
  22. Fair point, however part of the defence was that involving oneself in this sort of thing was against public decency. I have no opinion on this either way. Mosleys organisation fined Ferrari ?50m for stealing information about other teams cars and therefore bringing F1 into disrepute. If he spends his salary paying 5 brasses to beat the crap out of him for fun, it could be argued that he is not exactly covering the sport in glory himself. Don't get me wrong, I hate the way that rags like the NOW sensationalise the lives of ordinary folk, but Mosley is the head of an incredibly rich organisation, and should behave as such. He will be forced out, no doubt about it. The point is that only the very rich can afford to bring this sort of civil action, and that is basically not fair. There is no legal aid for a civil case.
  23. The case hinged on the Nazi stuff. The NOW's defence was that it was in the public interest to publish because Mosley indulged in a 'Nazi' orgy. The public school establishment judge decided that in his opinion there was not enough evidence to prove that there was in fact a 'Nazi' element to the proceedings, therefore found in favour of Mosley. He was awarded ?60k damages, which were deemed to be non-punitive, ie the judge decided that yes, his feelings had been hurt (the poor love) but the paper were mistaken rather than trying to fabricate a story, implying that it could be interpreted in that way. The NOW has to pay the costs of both sides, around ?850k. Two points:- 1. Watch the link and tell me there was no Nazi element to what went on. 2. If it had been me or you, how could we afford to risk about ?400k to 'clear' our name? One law for the rich...
  24. Sun gamely trying to break through the cloud cover here in Leeds. Not that I'm that bothered, your average albino has more resistance to sunburn tham I have.
