  1. Exactly, well said Tom. What the fcuk is with this site, when did it start arse licking the pie boys. THEY HAVE WON 1 MORE GAME THAN US, and have not played United and Arsenal. They flatter to decieve, sometimes their football is ok, and yes they have a few good attacking options (no world beaters though), but like Tom said, they would takeour whole back 5. As for managers, yes I would prefer Bruce to Megson, but only marginally. He is in no way some top manager that would have been our saviour, he's an average premiership manager, no more, no less. Get a grip, we have played 6 matches, 2 of which were against teams that will finish in the top 4, and for only one of the matches we had our full first team.
  2. 13 I honestly think that we might just sneak a win a t West Ham, and if we do then we will do alright. Maybe not 13 but 10 is realistic with a win at West Ham.
  3. For me he has another 6 games. He has only had 2 games with a fully fit squad (1 really as we didn't have Taylor last match), I'm accepting that as an excuse for now but not for long. If when Taylor gets back and the first team start to play regulary, we still don't get the results then for me it's time to go. It's a bit premature for names of the new manager, but seen as everyone ele is I'll have my say. Personally I think Curbs is the safest bet at the moment, premiership experience and all that, plus I think he had a rough ride with the owners at West Ham. My preferance though would be Phil Brown, in 6 games time or a couple of months or so things might not be a rosey at Hull and we might just be able to get him. Just thinking about the fact that the Hull manager might turn the Bolton job down shows how bad things have got within a couple of seasons. Whoever it is has to be the fans choice as well, this gives him more time and gives the fans less things to moan at the club for. p.s McGinlay back in some role would give the whole club a huge lift, doubt he would swap America for Bolton though, thats a job for the club to use their persuasive powers.
  4. Tylswhite are you being serious. Shittu will get ripped apart against the scum, you may as well play with 3 at the back. Surely you can see that AOB is 10 times the player that Shittu is. As for Gardner or Taylor, personally I would go for Taylor every time, he is much more of a goal threat from long range or in and around the box, he can also cross very well whereas Gardner can hardly even cross at all, and his set piece deliveries could come in useful, don't get me wrong I do rate Gardner, but I think that Taylor is one of most important players and we have missed him a lot.
  5. I knew that Cahill was back from suspension, and I guessed that Elmander would probably be back seen as he didn't feature last weekend, but I'm suprised that Matt Taylor is back already. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11672_4188940,00.html IMO they should all get straight back into the team. Cahill will obviously walk back in at the expense of Shittu, Elmander I'm sure will start seen as he is our real goal threat (although Davies is on fire up to now), I also think that Matt Taylor is as important as these 2 to the team, his workrate, creativity and crossing abilty has been missed IMO and I would also put him straight back in. My team would be: Jussi Steinsson Cahill AOB Gardner Nolan Muamba Taylor Davies Elmander Riga With Riga dropping onto the right wing if we wanted to go 442.
  6. The lad is rapid, but more than once JLS burned him, and Vaz Te made him look almost slow, I'm sure he was just jogging though.
  7. I was impressed yesterday. I thought there were a lot of positives. The main thing was that I thought we were the best team for 65/70 minutes of the match, against a team full of talent that walked all over Blackburn a week before. Did anybody watch the interview with Nolan on the tv's in the ground before the match, it showed all his best goals and fcuk me there is some guddens, I stood there thinking god we could do with one of those today, and during the first 10 minutes we could of had one, when he showed his class and vision and nearly lobbed Almunia from about 25 yards, I also thought he had a very good game in General. The team was a lot more attacking than it has been for a while, and we tried 442 for part of the 1st half. Shittu wasn't as bad as I thought he would be, infact apart from a few moments I thought he was generally solid, and AOB was brilliant. Riga looks quality and we still have Elmander to come back, Oh and Vaz Te actually looked a threat, but still showed he lacks confidence infront of goal.
  8. Jussi Steinsson AOB Fojut (I know he's got no experience but he can be no worse than Shitter) Gardner JOB Muamba Nolan Davies Elmander Riga
  9. And he's on fire at the moment. If I was in our defence next saturday I would be soiling myself at just the thought.
  10. Walcott, Van Persie and Adebayor will run rings around our slow defence.
  11. Completely agree Casino. I too am very pissed off with results at the moment, but I won't call for Megson to go, until I have seen how his best team do for at least 10 games.
  12. Shit on the outside, shit inside the stadium, but pretty special out on the pitchside. Would love to see Barca play Madrid there.
  13. I am in. I'm sure I can get away with a ?12.50 ticket
  14. He is easily impressed if he was impressed by the support on saturday. He'd of shot his load if he saw us Boro or Chelsea.
  15. IMO he just wanted to get out of Madrid. After what he said the day before he had burnt his bridges and could not stay. I'm not saying that he would have moved anywhere and for fcuk all money. But I think the fact that City was a route out of Madrid is a bigger reason for the move than his wages.
  16. Can you imagine the Scums faces if their beloved boy wonder was knicked off them, by the massivers
  17. Campo's at Ipswich, as for Stelios I'm not sure.
  18. That must be fishing, he is absolutely world class
  19. Because if there was only Bolton threads, then there wouldn't be any more threads.
  20. Was thinking exactly the same before, he is quality and would add creativity to our midfield, doubt Wolves would sell though.
  21. Jumped up little faggot on a power trip, punishing the players for fcuk all, just because he's 3 foot smaller than them. He ruined the game, and how Davies didn't snap and beat the shite out of him I don't know, some of the decisions against him were laughable (I wasn't laughing at the time). Did I mention he was really fcukin small,
