  3. as with many off here he was the manager of the wanderers team i first watched at Burnden. RIP Ian Greaves here's to a fitting tribute against the mancs
  4. must have be a cock cos that's one of the best crosses i have seen. outside of the boot an all
  5. think it was pablo who showed a bit of common sense the other week. he said that we weren't as bad as we thought. sometimes takes someone out of the picture to see it how it really is. the ginger one aint doing that bad another win or two he'll be manager of the month!
  6. i think there are 3 worse than us. thought everton were bobbins on wednesday, city were sh1te today and stoke were proper sh1te opening day. that's withought mentioning blackburn, westbrom, wigan, fulham and boro who are no better than us. i'm proper pissed too but smiling and happy cos we've won. can't wait for hull now, come on you whites
  7. i'm getting a pair in white for sunday
  8. not that you would know. born in ellesmere port i read somewhere but now residing on the wrong side of the big hill
  9. met neil whatmore last week. suited and booted looks nothing like an ex footie player. very articulate and works for a fancy commercial property company in sheffield. he has little contact with bolton since big sam left and turned down a meet and greet match day corporate job because of the travelling involved. maybe better looking at stig tofting and gerry taggart dream team.
  10. pissflaps there's 2 e's in negative you negative fecker
  11. did a couple of beverages and then went to scotts. no real atmosphere in time i was there but there is no real atmosphere in any of the surrounding pubs so a bit harsh to slag it for that. what was good was that it was all in one room and a big screen. seemed pretty busy when i got there about 12.45 but it would have been better with a dj like the sports bar used to have in manchester for england games. stick the game on with no sound on miles better imo, get the dj to play some tunes to get everyone in the mood. may have got livelier closer to kick off but we fancied a proper pint so did one. get the draft sorted and will attend again. good idea and can see it getting popular once people get used to it being on. tony kelly must have been to court this morning as i could swear he was in a jacket and tie and a camera following him around. hope he gets off cos he's not doing a bad job so far.
  12. Talibs - quality! everyone had a complex about going there but they gave out bags with the stars and stripes on so the whole of town knew you had some new jeans and where you'd been.
  13. didn't do the replay but the game at there place was full of shenanigans. i think they invaded the pitch at the end if i remember right and we were on the side in a split stand but i could be wrong. in more recent times in the 90's one of theirs scrotes allegedly sent razor blades in the post addressed to one of our players.
  14. lunatic in charge at the asylum. god knows what the likes of michael owen are making of all this. i almost feel sorry for the geordies
  15. the multi pint budweiser contraption that was in there at the oasis gig a few years back was the business. unfortunately i fell over bladdered and spilt both pints and didn't get to sample them. if its ?1.75 a pint i predict further spillages.
  16. i was away on holiday when we got that polish lad in and was told vaz te had gone the other way as part of that deal. obviously bolx or did they send him back? surely vaz te is either gonna do something very very soon or go for good.
  17. agreed on that one the only questioning of anyone should be of the idiots who went tonight, myself included. i forced my son to go as well for which i am truly ashamed.
  18. why the feck i went but i did. atrocious wasn't the first word that came to mind, regarding the big man's performance. he made their centre forward look brazilian, he looks like a schoolboy marking him right up his arse. their forward looked like emile heskey will look when he's about 70 but slower! sh1ttu nearly scored with a header and had a volley against the post in the first half. but then he went back to his position and reality set in.
  19. remember this well, the one season in many i didn't have a season ticket. learnt from that game though and was back ont season ticket after that. maybe yesterday's computer 'downtime' was a ploy to get a few late season tickets sold. liked the touch from the club though v watford when they sent for the orange warriors in case any one got lairy.
  20. think my only contribution can be that i vaguely remember thomo scoring at the far net, not that i could see it through beer goggles and we filled the away end. oh and some songs about sasa curcic slagging him off, so he had probably just left.
  21. will my family be safe we live only a few miles from the ground?
  22. fortunately danny hasn't adopted his step mums name, pyarface. never liked those double barrelled names for footie players, just not right.
  23. now that must be blx as they don't have the internet in blackburn.
