  1. if he wears a replica shirt, ugly as fcuk, spouts sh1te, thinks he's god and has a head like a water melon he is a complete tosspot. we moved season tickets to be away from him this season over to nsl corner with esl. if this aint the same bloke sorry but i don't know who the fcuk your on about but you mr wattie melon head are still a cock
  2. if marion jones can get away with winning titles drugged up to the eyeballs for years we must be able to fix it to get big kev on something to sort the pace thing out.
  3. wind assisted as the famous rivington 'breeze' will play it's part.
  4. 2-1 to the mighty whites healey with a back heely for the shandy drinkers campo diving header direct from a corner from guthrie
  5. yep, signed by mr megson himself. thanks ginge
  6. any bafoon can score from 80 yards out on youtube, but can they mix it where it matters - fifa 08 on the ps3? top scouts around europe play this and forward their results to sven. 8 million later and their a citeh player.
  7. top tip that one only wish i had known other night. missus was trying to change flight details for holiday with thomas cook later this year. an hour and a half later still not sorted - robbing tw@ts.
  8. stealing a living in america apparently now................ Steve McAnespie's Story? McAnespie, Assistant Coach and player for the Shell Shockers, like the Ostroske's decided to ride out the storm in New Orleans. McAnespie usually resides with coach Kenny Farrell, who is currently safe and sound in North Carolina, but was staying at in a friend?s house in the City Park area of New Orleans at the time. The house was not far from the Pan American and Tad Gormley Stadiums. The two stadiums in City Park are under water at this time. As the water rose, McAnespie had to go higher and higher in the house before finally ending up on the roof of his friend?s home alone and with no supplies. Finally, after two days of being stranded on the roof McAnespie was found and rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter. From the staging area he was brought to Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Thibodaux is about 60 miles Southwest of New Orleans. From there, McAnespie made his way to Baton Rouge, Lafayette and the Texas cities of Beaumont and Houston. From Houston, McAnespie caught a flight and is currently in the Atlanta area with friends. A native of Scotland, McAnespie has been in the US since 2003 helping Farrell coach the Shell Shockers and does not plan to leave the US for the milder, but still damp, climates of his homeland after his experience with the hurricane
  9. sure he's played at CB before for england u21's. maybe a few are gonna have to become more versatile and get used to different roles as ginger gaz shapes his squad.
  10. good point and a hardworking performance from the team. got to be happy with that after all the sh1te of the last few days. how kev nolan got away with telling the ref to fcuk off in the first half is a mystery. stevie wonder would have lip read that.
  11. i knew they ate rats in newcastle. you can get them deep fried from the chippy in fact. i didnt know they ate shark in iceland though.
  12. already in n stand lower in corner nearest east. there are a few who have a sing and try and have a laugh around us. but the numbers are few and we certainly need a little help getting something going in there.
  13. unless the service speeds up considerably in the n stand lower i will always be still in the queue or finishing my bevvie as the game kicks off so this is all lost on me.
  14. they never bring many and it's a bit sad. derby's are no more just another game. after a few discounts and offers even the cheaper end cat c tickets look like a bum deal to many. i reckon we will get 20k but no more on.
  15. oh dear how sad. bit gutted we couldn't go up there week after this and do the business and remove him that way.
  16. they mentioned it on wednesday as 3notes for adults and pound for kids. no reference to free for season ticket holders though, so i took it that it wasn'tl.
  17. if they paid them a basic and more based on the number of pints served it would surely speed things up.
  18. my lad aint going tonight. he has endured a week of my cooking and is pining for his mam's. as a result i have a juvenile season ticket available for tonights get together with derby. it is for n stand lower and could be upgraded to adult's at the ticket office or used as it is for a young un. it's available as a freebie as it aint doing out sat in my wallet. if anyone out there wants it let us know via pm and i will meet up and sort it out tonight.
  19. if that was a night match that we lost 1 nil i was sat on a row below you and remember the tossers well. i said i would not return there again and won't as it seems nothing has changed. i wouldn't mind there was no threat from the away support, there must have been about a 1000 if that. they were totally overreacting to anything bordering on supporting a team. i saw a lad who went last night in w/hton in blockbusters and he said it was sh1te. not die hard 4 which i had chosen but the game and in particular the dibble and stewards and he said there had been a bloke who left near him with 2 kids, saying he wasnt having his kids picked on for standing up as they were only 10 or so. no doubt another p1ssed off punter who won't be returning.
  20. good to see all this positive talk about the young un's being taken to the game. this will be how most of us got into watching footie. my lads first game was blackpool away pre season friendly about 10 year ago when he was 2 and he loves it. he's had a season ticket since he was 5 and for about 100notes for nstand lower it's not a bad deal. another statto in the making, he remembers who scored at every game we've ever been to. i don't even remember going to half the games he can reel off. mind the ale might have something to do with that.
  21. taylor scored a few goal of the season contenders last season. seems popular with the crowd down at pompey and could play in midfield of full back would be a good signing imo.
  22. yeah remember some argie bargie surrounding that when they scored and out they went. there was also a big bloke with a bristol rovers shirt on winding up the plymouth fans.
  23. goes with the job for me. too much nicey nicey taking over in football. racism no to but general abuse hurled from the terraces is part of the banter that makes it worth going. shilton dealt with it well as i remember he got loads of sh1t as his missus tina had played away. down at home park early 90's he was in nets for plymouth we gave him loads of 'if you've shagged shilton's wife claps your hands' and the rest. he turned round and gave us the v's, top response and had us all laughing. didn't go bleating to the press.
  24. just purchased online mine and t'lads tickets for sheff utd. i did it on the back of the advert by the FA in the bowton news promising the works and with an england badge in the top corner i felt duty bound. maybe wanderers could disguise their tickets under an fa badge and see how we get on. buying on line it took a few seconds and was as easy as tapping off on shifnall street(not that i would know of course). 11 notes me and young un and two fingers up to the planned boycott over winning in belgrade with a weakened team. who's with me in the counter boycott? n stand middle aged lower massive
