Nolan has my undying gratitude for what the lad has done for us over the years, and despite the chances he's doubtless had he's never acted like a prick off the field. A real ambassador for the club.

 

Having said that, it's best for all concerned that he moves on - he really wasn't performing as well as he can, and it's better for all concerned IMO.

The guy is Bolton through and through, it wouldn't be right to see him in another teams shirt. If he goes then I honestly think that it wouldn't be because he wants to, but because he feels he is being forced out.

 

BUT we all know he has never reached the heights of 3 or 4 years ago, in some ways I feel he is only in the team because he is captain. Surely if he is on his way then we have somebody coming in.
