  1. and so the season ends as it begins... BONHAM! FORINO! WANDERERS! that was quite unenjoyable for most, how can anyone find that fun when your nerves are at their max, WEMBLEY!
  2. That Maeda overhead was something special, what a goal 😲
  3. PSG attackers vs Arsenal's defence will be interesting, Khvicha is a stunning baller
  4. been some chances and 2 handballs that didn't go Bayern's way, one would have been a second yellow for Mendes but it hit Bayern's player arm first and a handball not given in the box when Neves's hand was out and hit by his own player, Kompany not happy, not as good as last week like.
  5. here we go already 0-1
  6. Not expecting anything close to last week and part of me thinks the odds on Kane winning the CL and WC is slim, though I fancy do fancy Bayern in this, might need pens to do so given they need to win by 2 to avoid them.
  7. Well Bournemouth need 7 points from 9 at least with Villa getting 0 or 1 from 9 it looks unlikely to me Villa with their 6 point lead will finish 6th or lower.
  8. All of a sudden it looks bleak for West Ham, big game next for both ends when they play Arsenal at home, Spurs have Leeds at home and they have played really well today, Villa been dreadful, perhaps the UCL already almost guaranteed and their 2nd leg upcoming as played a apart, so a good time for Spurs to meet 'em 1-2 as i type but no time left surely.
  9. My worry is our defence, we need something substantial for them to try and hold onto going into the 2nd leg, whilst we could have scored more than 2 ourselves and have scored 12 in our last 4 home games, Luton scored three, missed a penalty, had other moments and hit the woodwork three times and that was with Forino doing some great defensive stuff and some fist pumping etc, that back 4 cannot along with the keeper be in place next season regardless of league. Many ways of looking at this match, we know we can beat them, we played well at theirs just last week, but they'll feel they're due a goal at least given the two 0's they've already had. Needs 2+ lead, there is zero trust in us defensively .. .. also in the last playoffs it felt amazing after we beat Barnsley 3-1 away, then went 5-2 up and almost let it slip, it felt great getting Oxford instead of Peterborough, but we didn't even have a shot on target at Wembley, so if we win well in this 1st leg I won't be getting carried away and if we do get through and it's Stevenage, I won't be allowing my thoughts to think we are favourites, that Wembley loss and along with England's two final losses, it took a couple of days for that guttedness to go, but still plays on my mind now and then. if we fail here, we certainly have no chance of seeing Duberry again (if we have anyway with promotion) and Kenny and we'll need to improve because we've ended up way off the top 2 in the end, too many draws and we'd not even be close to the playoffs without all the heroic very late comebacks.
  10. .. wrong thread
  11. More confident we are playing Bradford and that today gets a loss out the way but to many mistakes in the team and the defence is average at best as is the keeper, so it would only be proper faith to say we are gonna get to the final, we need a 2 goal lead at least, for nerves sake 3 or more lol.
  12. They've hit woodwork x3 lol
  13. Ref in tears, great goal and celebration
  14. 5-4 madness
  15. PSG now running away with it, unreal and ruthless
  16. They've clearly not seen Yamal either lol
  17. This is elite
  18. This is top tier footy! 2-1 PSG with great chances for both teams for more!
  19. Regardless of League, new goalie is required, better left back.
  20. Perhaps and that could even be a blessing to finish 4th and avoid a team that may be buzzing at sneaking 6th.
  21. It felt like it was completely random if our defenders would deal with the long balls into space, Forino and Toal messed up just like Johnstone after the goal causing us to defend when they were simple to deal with. Kenny's goal was made to look simple but ti was so clean in how he worked it on his right and finished it stylishly. Decent result which leaves it in our hands to finish 3rd 4th, we can't finish any lower than 5th, you'd think Stockport will beat Port Vale in their game in hand, but we are home they are away to Barnsley, so maybe 3rd may still happen. Luton will have to come at us, which our wingers should be looking forward to.
  22. ...2 chances for Burnley also
  23. 2 chances and a goal already for City inside 5 mins
  24. if we lose to Bradford please let it only be by the odd goal, don't want Luton thinking they can overtake the GD on the final day, at least a point vs Bradford and it's in our hands for 3rd 4th, either-way, they'll be summat on both remaining games, which is good prep for the playoffs.
  25. Them not sending Gabriel off is so bizarre, Bernardo will be a huge loss to City after this season
