It's a good draw because we didn't get Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Villa or Manchester City and we are at home which means we have a better chance of getting through.

Thought that was Chelsea's ball when it was picked out, glad it wasn't, not a bad draw, we have a good chance of progression. We all know what happened last time we played Sheff Utd in the F.A Cup, don't we Megson

Hopefully a lower league side at home.
  6. I actually thought when Jay Jay came back from the African cup along with his new afro like hairdo he started getting a bit of form back.Him and Vaz Te we're linking up well in games, i remember we beat West Ham summat like 4-0/1 and he was amazing that day was like watching Okocha in his 1st season.
  7. Your missing megson by the sounds of your posts

  9. Gartside is on a turkey.
  10. This i spotted such a body, is getting a bit boring.
  11. Hughes is perfect for Bolton, Bolton atm is perfect for Hughes. After getting sacked by City, he isn't gonna get to manage a big club yet, he can get us safe with the players we have, he has January TW to sort out some new faces. If we get a manager who is really positive, what does this mean for the likes of K.Davies? He's captain so won't be dropped, but if a new manager doesn't do a Gary and try and copy BSA[not saying it's wrong] then if we try to play a more easier on the eye game, i think players like Davies will struggle. We play to his strenghts but he's not good when ball at feet. Not just Davies like it's just a thought, change is happening.
  12. I meant 2009 has been rubbish for BWFC, not my life ::
  13. Kevin Nolan is better than Cohen, McCann, M.Davies , especially on the form he is on this season.
  14. One day Bolton will come across a team with Megson in charge , and Bolton will absolutely smash his team 8-0 playing positive football. Such a rubbish 2009 ended with some cracking news! Thanks Gartside! but what took so long . Lincoln are in for it!
  15. Mint! I didn't expect it to happen, but it needed to. Mark Hughes or lets go foreign. Hopefully we can rebuild the bad feel Megson has done and make us a good team again.
  16. Im sorry but i have no confidence in our defence, attack is our best way. When we go negative, we are, as proved not good enough to keep teams out. 2-1 against Hull[not Chelse or Utd] we should still be positive and not go into lets back off mode. We get pushed back, even Davies comes back, then we can only rely on winning set pieces for a chance to score. It doesn't work, it isn't getting results, and the defence is not good enough, so why try it. Hull scored with a cross that should of been dealt with, we whilst not playing well we're still leading and at home we should not be so negative. At 0-0 defenders were nervous, Knight kicking the ball out for no reason then raising an arm saying sorry, Jussi was nervous, surely a manger can see this. So why give them more work to do and let a team come at us, teams get around our midfield far to easy so even an extra midfielder doesn't work, there is hardly any pace in there to cover areas and hardly anyone who has composure and awarness. We rely on set pieces and break in play to relieve the pressure, no wonder fans get angry, it's not what you want to see when you pay money, ok it's acceptable against big teams especially away from home, but Hull ?? what will we do if we are 2-0 up against Lincoln and they suddenly score? It happened against Spurs and Blackburn last season, it happened against Everton earlier this season but we eventually won, tonight it happend again, so this shows nothing is being learned and the club is not being improved, they still have the same mind sets and are not good enough to cope with pressure or teams being allowed to coem back in the game, be that from negative tactics or th eplayers themselves being poor, which the majority are, Matty Taylor was angry tonight, going mad at Zat Knight and Robinson, the players , the fans, the manager , what have we become? This team never wins against 10 men, it cant keep clean sheets, it can't hold onto leads and is being run by a negative manager who is not wanted. Why is it still being allowed to carry on like this, are certain people expecting/hoping things will suddenly change for the better? Im of to play some FIFA because if i think about Bolton anymore before i go to sleep im seriously gonna get my brand new calendar i got for christmas and rip it up.
  17. I do believe you, and i respect and understand our history. I've seen more than just top flight, but yes i agree it's mainly what my mind remembers and what i grown up on. I don't want Bolton to get relegated, it's like everything is going wrong with the club.I know we over achieved when we were doing great things. It's all gone and im full of worry. I've heard about our debts, i've seen what's happened to Charlton etc. I don't want that to happen. I have grown up enjoying brilliant players, like Okocha , Ronaldinho etc, so i already dislike the football we play, now my dixlike for the manager is at a high, and im sick of feeling the way i am after every defeat or like what we saw v Hull. I care so much, i don't expect miracles, i will never leave ths club but i can't say i get any enjoyment out of the experiance at all. Im proud of our history, but recently i am not proud. It's a shame, when i was young bad results didn't matter has much, now that im getting used to feeling angry and fed up with Bolton , it's very hard thinking anything other than bad thoughts.
  18. The only time i have felt this bad, was after the Carling Cup final defeat to Boro but still had a lot of pride. I hate saying this, but right now, proud to be a Wanderer, not a chance!
  19. Surely it's not the right time, to look back at history. Right now BWFC is in absolute mess, and history will not change anything.
  20. Who honestly thinks we are gonna survive? We surely can't rely on other teams slipping up and getting lucky every season.
  21. This game just proved how bad Megson is, yes footballers win matches/score goals, but they are not helped with such negative tactics all the time. The team can't defend so why do we try and hold on.It never works and he makes himself look even worse. At 2-1 up who else would put on McCann for Klasnic !!!!!! is interview after the match sums him up , once again he blames the fans, it's never is fault, never !!!!!! Get rid now!! EDIT: Mistake with scoreline.
