There was the odd "Mesgon out" shouts from the Bolton fans, but some fans were a lot more vocal when the ref was giving Megson a good ear bashing early in the first half, there were many shouting OFF,OFF,OFF and OUT,OUT,OUT and a corus of boo's when Megson wasn't sent off. I don't think that your reaction was over the top, and you have every right to question my use of the word, however, as i have come across many hooligans in my time as a BWFC supporter, and even socialised with some of them, i will exercise my right to use that description for them. While i can see why you may find the term as offensive, do you not think that, in general, hooligans are themselves offensive? If so, then the term fits.
