Probably blind sentiment. I know he's in an untenable position and it's probably best for all parties that he moves on but I still want him to succeed. On that note, I need a drink 😄

Just re-read your original post actually @Krimzon and thought exactly the same thing watching Undr The Cosh strangely/alarmingly. Part of my apprehension when everyone seems to be suggesting him coming back on board.

Huddersfield Town (H)
As I put on Twitter earlier, I really wanted Evatt to succeed. I like him as a manager and I think he tries to (on the whole) go about things the right way - when he says he wants to be the first manager to take a team from L2 to the Prem, I believe him. But today felt like the end of an era. Today their number 6 (Hogg?) sat just in front of their centrebacks - between our strikers and two midfielders and had the freedom of Horwich to pick a pass, carry it in to space, spread it wide; whatever they needed to dictate the pace of the game. It constantly left Matete and Thommo chasing shadows all game. And it took until we were 3-0 down before someone on the bench recognised it and switched the formation. Plan A wasn't the problem last year. It got us to 3rd in the league, 89 points and a play off final. It was the lack of a Plan B when A wasn't working that hurt us most. Why the fuck have we ditched what was sort of working in favour of whatever this 2 in midfield bollocks is supposed to be? It's this tactical stubbornness/naivety/stupidity that will stop Evatt becoming a successful manager higher up the tree. 13 in 41 though is inexcusable and shows that it's not just this rough start to the season that's the root cause of the discontent. Blaming the fans is suicidal at this point however. FWIW I'd give him next week but purely on the basis he tries something drastically different a la the L2 season. In the background, the wheels can be put in motion re. a replacement. Whether he'll get that long, I doubt it.

Nearly 3k sold now. Pleasantly surprised at that.

Seems as good of a place as any to stick this (apologies if I’ve missed it elsewhere). Currently an hour in and it’s an interesting listen. The section about playing out from the back feels a little bit targeted to say the least.

Asked on Twitter but had no response. Can you return K&F coach tickets? Travel plans have changed so going to be staying over now.

Turns out he’s as bad of a manager as he was a player

In but most likely going to be K&F. 2 days left of annual leave makes things tricky

Comments taken from https://www.barrowafc.net/viewtopic.php?t=33257&sid=4df878f74e4aa2cecfe8e46e0bf0c5f0 Fans not very happy. Worried about players picking up injuries rather than the result. They have a history of not having to slum it like us and have a successful history. Times change .

Also Iredale was one of our very few threats from set pieces. Seemed a nice enough chap too. Limited but didn’t seem to shirk responsibility. It’s a go well from me.

Just landed back in the country - not bad news to turn my phone back on to! Never been before and who knows if/when we’ll get a chance to go back to the Emirates so going to try and make the trip down. Only got 1 more day of annual leave left to use so going to have to do two half days somehow. Will find a way. Take the money and run.

Imagine something wild like a formation change? Would love to see a 433, purely to see something different but I can see him persisting with Plan A 2.0 and just scrapping by. Even if we were to go back to the 352 with McAtee at the top of the middle 3 I think we’d benefit. All of us can see that this midfield 2 experiment just isn’t working.

Really quick round up whilst I've got 10 mins Posts taken from https://www.redpassion.co.uk/threads/bolton-away-reaction-thread.124675/ That big donkey would have been sent off with Mullin around, he'd have played him like a fiddle. *lots of great point on the road posts* Absolutely. We sign a striker and get Mulls back and we could have nicked that. Totally agree. They are a huge club at L1 level (just flick through their Wiki page- in recent memory FACSF, League Cup final, several years in the Prem, European football etc). I’ve seen a few posts from people saying we are a bigger club . Head-wobble time. Arrogant is a fair description TBF. Bolton’s natural level should be yo-yoing between Prem and Champ like Burnley, Norwich, Fulham etc, so to go there and get a well deserved point shows what we can aspire to.

Only thing I’d have done different is potentially Matete in for Sheehan but other than that, strongest team we have IMO

Coleman, Dan and Morley would be my guess

Making a start now because I'm out tomorrow evening then off on holiday Monday so going to try and do what I can before I go. All posts taken from PREMATCH *how many tickets are we getting post?* That all? So they're breaking EFL rules then. Clubs should give 10% unless you have a valid reason not to, like building work going on etc. *lots and lots of posts about a lack of a loyalty scheme for away tickets...* sounds familiar... You get seats in a far superior ground in fairness and decent concourse where you don't have to queue from the 35th minute to get a beer at half time. It isn't right but yeah. It's an excellent stadium. Its the first home game of the season. Think it's more to do with Bolton than us on this occasion. Possibly but last season there first home game attendance was 20143 so that figure has already been beaten and still another 3 weeks to sell more tickets Well they had 20,143 at home to Lincoln first day last season, so it's about us if it's over 25,000 Probably more to do with making the play off final last season and expecting to kick on again this year. There's some ace comments on your forum fair do's. Been laughing at your lot's proficiency in the welsh language ...couldn't be arsed signing up and all that palava (wish there was a one-for-all footie forums sign-in option, and any fcukin about/abuse etc and your out on your ear!)... but there's some decent posters on there tbf...

Yellows probably just about right IMO. Wouldn’t have been surprised if a red card came out though.

Likewise. It's annoying having to watch on a phone, tablet or PC but very rarely have a problem with one going down.
