Anyone know much about flight schedules or routes? Got a friend getting married in Rhodes next May half term. Mrs2094 is MOH so can’t really pass on it. Direct flights only seem to fly from Liverpool or Brum and are £700pp. Manchester one is miles cheaper but with a stop in Munich which isn’t ideal. Is a direct route between Manchester and Rhodes something that could get announced at a later date or would that sort of thing be out there by now? Any experience or words of wisdom appreciated cos I have a clue

Good evenings viewing Second half chalk and cheese to the first. Dapo and Amaechi looked lively albeit rusty. Bakayoko can shift for a big lad. Sheehan clearly has pedigree but wasn’t really the game or pitch for him. Everyone else were pretty steady. Evatt pretty much grilled the lot of them at half time. Not brave enough, not trusting enough, too much sideways and backwards etc. Second half we had a bit more purpose. Darcy looked lively and Gordon at left back put in a good showing. Kieran Lee’s evidently a cut above. Delf looked a bit more interested too. I know it’s ‘only’ Cols but still an enjoyable watch. Also nice to see Shazza in the stands. Made time for absolutely anyone and everyone.

I’m absolutely dreading the day me and the missus have to go through this. Our furry little nobhead is 3 in August. She’s reactive on a lead (which is getting better thankfully), has hayfever, intolerances, a dodgy back leg but she brings so much happiness into our lives. If for whatever reason she’s out with the outlaws and not in the house, I almost feel a bit lost - the house is quiet without the patter of paws.

Just nipped out to the bin and saw a line of 12 or so lights flying over Bolton in a perfect straight line formation. Done a bit of Googling and turns out it’s Musk’s Starlink project. Eerily stunning to watch.

Went down to Essa today with a BL2 postcode. Absolutely seamless once in. Had to queue for about half an hour but everything else was very efficiently done. Waited longer for rides at Alton Towers. Superb effort by everyone involved.

Unfortunately I'm limited by the size of the laser that I've got at the minute (oh matron). I can only cut/engrave sheets up to A4 and I can't make the design any smaller without compromising on the detail. Long term I want something a bit bigger but at this stage I'm snookered. I tried to use Zico's suggestion from earlier in the thread as a reference as Normid would've meant I ran in to the same problem mentioned above - having to compromise on detail. I take your point though! I'll look in to ways of adding the roof. It's quite a shallow pitch which might make it tricky to show however I like the challenge.

And here's V2. Any feedback is much appreciated. Reference photos were a lot harder to come by than I expected.

This took a bit longer than anticipated (mainly because the ancient laptop I was using to operate the laser packed in)! I’ve cut V1 out which I’ve picked up a couple of issues with. Will try and get V2 sorted tonight and providing it looks ok, I’ll stick some photos on here for feedback.

Finally got Deepdale out the way. Took more trial and error than I’d anticipated so I’ll be moving on to Burnden this weekend. Will get some pictures up when it’s getting nearer designed.

I have been doing/will be doing providing Burnden comes out ok! The more traditional grounds don’t seem to look as impressive as the newer grounds with distinguishing features (excluding supermarkets). Leave it with me, I’ll see what I can do 😂

Evening all, During lockdown this time round I took the plunge to start on a new hobby and started making these models of popular stadiums or iconic stands and I've just had a request through for Burnden Park. Now I'm going to show my age here... I never actually went (albeit I was 3 when we moved to the Reebok). My question is, what stand would you say was/is the most iconic looking (from the outside) or the best to replicate in this form? I'm also struggling a bit for decent reference photos so if anyone knows of any good ones that could help, that'd be much appreciated. I'm scouring Google but not having much look at the moment. Thanks in advance. Edit: I'm finding a few pictures on Google but they're mainly arial shots so difficult to gauge details and specifics.
