  1. Could have been a pen. Would have been generous.
  2. Dislocated, according to the commentators. Utter gash that half. None of our midfielders have earned their salary so far this week, Madine is getting bullied, Clough hasn't touched the ball yet I don't think. Typical of us to concede a "worldie" though. Have to put it down to the goalkeeper change though - Alnwick's not looked composed yet.
  3. So glad I got up early to watch this...
  4. Striker jumped in front of him when he was throwing the ball out and he ended up punching the back of his head, hurting his hand.
  5. There are several channels I subscribe to that employ dozens of people to edit and make the videos. You can make some serious bank if you make your stuff entertaining.
  6. Nah it's free as long as you don't mind watching adverts before the videos (or get AdBlock).
  7. He does go to London-based games (he was at the North London Derby this weekend) but he seems to get to every Wanderers game (home and away) that he can.
  8. I'm relatively new to his channel, but I watched all his vlogs from this season. I feel for the lad, I really do. YouTube is a genuine way of making money for a lot of the content creators on there, and the money you get is directly affected by your subscriber count and channel views. Essentially, this is akin to someone hacking into your bank account and just deleting your money. Apart from his London accent, he's a good 'un. He's Bolton through and through.
  9. I'm happy with 3. Slow progression to invincibility. 1-0, 1-0, 2-0, 2-0, 2-0, 3-0... that'll do for me.
  10. Another stat I just heard (cannot take credit for this myself) is that if Bolton keep a clean sheet today, it'll be the first time we've kept 6 in a row since a week before the Titanic sank in 1912.
  11. Also, if it stays as it is, we've already beaten our points tally from the whole of last season before the end of October.
  12. Their keeper is having a man of the match performance to keep the score as low as it is. Feel a bit sorry for him, honestly.
  13. Urgh, 4am start for me that day...
  14. I would absolutely hate to see our guys doing those... Something a bit more genuine about ZC sliding on his knees...
  15. To be fair, most of the comments in that forum seem fairly level-headed, compared to some opponents fans after we beat them. We're not the most entertaining right now, but we are getting solid results and never look like conceding which I am more than happy to be seeing at the moment. They even commented how their home kit looks like cast-offs from 1998. Was talking to Swanny during the game and he said they looked like blokes in jeans and replica shirts. I agree.
  16. Fair enough. Well let's change 4 to "Don't forget your passport" :P
  17. Hence the parentheses.
  18. England shirt. In hindsight, a terrible choice.
  19. $26, and I'm a giant geek. Need more reason than that?
  20. I spent a few weeks in Southern California in 2005, and went for a day trip to Tijuana. Tips from my point of view: 1) If you're walking around past all the crappy shops, do NOT wear anything that can easily identify you and bring attention to yourself. 2) Do not let random guys pour tequila into your open mouth. It's a bad plan. 3) Do NOT drink the water, or eat any food washed in the water (such as lettuce in the tacos etc). 4) Make sure you take your passport AND your green visa waiver card. I forgot my green waiver card and had to spend 3 hours in quarantine while my American cousin returned to his house to pick it up. If I think of more, I'll update. All in all, it was a pretty dire experience.
  21. True. Especially for that price. Personalized plates here are $26 for whatever you want, so it makes a little more sense. My current one is JONSNOW, and my previous one was BWFC 16.
  22. I just see "Call Me Maybe".
  23. Alternatively, people can spend their (hard-earned) money on whatever the hell they like.
