  1. So if we win 4 more games, best EVER start. I'd take that.
  2. Always brings a wry smile to my face. "I've 'urt mi leg, I can feel t' pain" is a personal highlight.
  3. We're in the third tier. We're owning it.
  4. That was the start 82 years ago, but I imagine there's a better one before that.
  5. These people make six figure salaries off of this kind of stuff. I don't understand it, but you have to respect it.
  6. So I'm not sure, but I can't help but think Duffy did all that on purpose... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vMalVmUpNE Highlights from Cardiff's YouTube page. The first was a sweet finish, then he got his first yellow for blatantly kicking a guy in the back of the leg, and his second yellow was the most blatant dick move I've ever seen. *puts tin foil hat on* - Coyle is taking them down on purpose
  7. Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but we're the only 100% team outside of the Premier League (who've only played one game). Not bad Wanderers, not bad.
  8. Hell no. We want to be the last 100% in this league, even if it's only for one more game.
  9. I stopped keeping all my collectibles in the package. At the end of the day I wanted to look at the stuff I'm spending a lot of money on, so I started taking them out of the boxes and building displays of them. Future money be damned!
  10. This is where my mind was. Very disappointed that he didn't.
  11. Which is two at any one time. Thanks for proving my point.
  12. The most we ever had was 2. Kevin and Mark. Sean was a Davis.
  13. This season so far, Wheater. Over the course of this season, I'd like to say Davies but I think Clayton might have a breakout season.
  14. 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch (40 hours total). Salaried though, so I regularly take longer lunches, a half hour for breakfast every day. Also, I go to the free gym here so I get here at 6.30am or so then work out for an hour, usually end up leaving around 4.30pm. It's not very well managed, now I think about it.
  15. So everybody gets a clean slate this season... apart from Davies. The wages are the concern of the manager and the chairman. While he's available, he's our most creative player. One of the only players in our squad who can create something from nothing, but he needs the support of the other players around him. I'm hoping that he, Clayton, and Clough can strike up some kind of attacking understanding, because it really doesn't work with Madine. From what I saw of Davies last night, he seemed to be one step ahead of his team mates, and had to stop advancing and play it sideways because of lack of movement in advanced positions. Then you all slag him off for playing it sideways too much. If he tried to take it himself, and lost possession (which he did last night, and got booked for trying to get it back too aggressively), you'd all have a pop at him for that. Agree with the Vela comments though, that kid is gash. Don't know if his heads not in it, or if he's been ruined by playing full back too much, but he's definitely gone backwards.
  16. But don't forget that he's shit... and doesn't care...
  17. That drives me mental. I actually asked someone once about it, and they said it's so they don't get "oils" on the lenses like you do when you put them on top of your head. I suggested maybe he should wash his hair periodically.
  18. Marc Iles ‏@MarcIles 21s22 seconds agoHorwich, England Phil Parkinson reports that Darren Pratley "heard a crack" as he turned out of tackle from Clarke. Will be x-rayed. #bwfc
  19. If only someone would have mentioned that...
  20. This. I felt bad enough when Nolan became a "player manager".
  21. Just out of interest, a question for all the "get Davies out" brigade... If he was on 7k instead of 17k, would you feel the same?
  22. That's actually Einstein's definition of insanity, but the message is the same. In contrast though, I'm actually looking forward to this season. Life's too short to worry about this kind of stuff.
  23. You're right. He should play forward passes to nobody instead, and lose possession...
  24. Yup. For an Everton fan he's not a bad lad.
