  1. We are looking at £3800 a year at the moment, god knows what it is going to hit next year.
  2. 5 different scorers.
  3. My daughter's damming verdict was that it made Stevenage look good.

Sat Nav on is sending me via M6 this morning rather than A1 M62, says it will save me 5 minutes. Tempted to ignore it following the comments on here.
  5. Nowack replied to Casino's topic in Terrace Talk
    Take a nice blanket.
  6. He realised he could monetise his conspiracy theories no matter how crazy they were, in fact the more shocking the better. I remember him being treated as a joke/imbecile by John Ronson and Doug Stanhope, two very different characters, that both disowned him many years ago.
  7. If I had a choice of only one England attacker, from the modern era, I think I would choose Shearer over both Gascoigne and Rooney.
  8. Rama spice looks like a good menu. We have a vegetarian and they seem to cater for them more than the others.
  9. Around Four Lane Ends so Spice Valley is an option, Dalchini not so much. Probably stick with Achari so I can show my kids round town beforehand.
  10. Bringing the kids up to see my Dad and they have asked to go back to Achari. Is it still ok or should we look elsewhere?
  11. I m praying to all the gods that Bob Mortimer was listening in.
  12. I think it comes from the production of energy which they sell to British Gas, among others, which then they sell to us and makes a smaller profit of just under 100m.
  13. Centrica operating profits for the last six months rose to £1.34bn from £262m. Good news for all of us with decent pension pots but not sure how it is helping with the cost of living.
  14. That's very working class. Us middle class types have one TV in the corner of the room next to the extensive bookcase. We then use our computers and tablets we say are for work to watch BBC4 and Sky Arts on.
  15. I think having more than one TV is probably a signifier.
  16. Tongue moor Stanley Boys. I knew a lad who claimed to be the one who kicked off as he was the smallest and the others would then have an excuse to join in. Always thought it was bollox though.
  17. Liz Truss is only 46, she had one hell of a paper round.
  18. Good point Could you sum that all up in the form of a meme though?
  19. Does this not imply a border between the NI and Eire. And if so is that compatible with GFA.
  20. Hope you do a courtesy flush, sitting atop a bowl of floating faeces is surely going to dampen the solitary and peaceful moment.
  21. To be fair that is what the Tories have been doing. I guess we need to define the middle classes as well, if anything Labour seem to be targeting the £80k+ a year bracket and multi nationals.
  22. I think in general the membership is a bit more centrist than the parliamentary party. It is interesting that the first few days when they have wanted to get MPs on board we have had a lot of stuff about Taxes, Defence, Thatcher, Union Flags etc. I think when it gets further down the line and the members need impressing it will be the usual Health, Education and Policing stuff that is being talked about.
  23. Please can you explain this one.
  24. Agreed. It along with the visual gimmicks like popping a balloon, crashing through a polystyrene wall. All for Social Media but as an old fart it really grinds. EDIT: For balance I will add the prick asking Johnson if he was having a good week during a meeting.
