The Cost Of Living Crisis
We are looking at £3800 a year at the moment, god knows what it is going to hit next year.

My daughter's damming verdict was that it made Stevenage look good.

The M6.
Sat Nav on is sending me via M6 this morning rather than A1 M62, says it will save me 5 minutes. Tempted to ignore it following the comments on here.

Tinfoil Helmet Mon
He realised he could monetise his conspiracy theories no matter how crazy they were, in fact the more shocking the better. I remember him being treated as a joke/imbecile by John Ronson and Doug Stanhope, two very different characters, that both disowned him many years ago.

Rooney v Gazza
If I had a choice of only one England attacker, from the modern era, I think I would choose Shearer over both Gascoigne and Rooney.

Best curry house.
Rama spice looks like a good menu. We have a vegetarian and they seem to cater for them more than the others.

Best curry house.
Around Four Lane Ends so Spice Valley is an option, Dalchini not so much. Probably stick with Achari so I can show my kids round town beforehand.

Best curry house.
Bringing the kids up to see my Dad and they have asked to go back to Achari. Is it still ok or should we look elsewhere?

The Cost Of Living Crisis
I think it comes from the production of energy which they sell to British Gas, among others, which then they sell to us and makes a smaller profit of just under 100m.

The Cost Of Living Crisis
Centrica operating profits for the last six months rose to £1.34bn from £262m. Good news for all of us with decent pension pots but not sure how it is helping with the cost of living.

I think having more than one TV is probably a signifier.

Tongue moor Stanley Boys. I knew a lad who claimed to be the one who kicked off as he was the smallest and the others would then have an excuse to join in. Always thought it was bollox though.- Politics

I think in general the membership is a bit more centrist than the parliamentary party. It is interesting that the first few days when they have wanted to get MPs on board we have had a lot of stuff about Taxes, Defence, Thatcher, Union Flags etc. I think when it gets further down the line and the members need impressing it will be the usual Health, Education and Policing stuff that is being talked about.- Politics
