Just had a quick look at Madine's goal compilation and pretty much all of his goals are within the penalty area, he's scored a fair few headers, which you'd expect for his size and he can take a penalty too.

Gary Madine? Think he's done a stretch in prison, not a great goal scorer either, oh well, maybe Lennon can bring the best out of him.

Going off what Nixon has tweeted so far, this striker is a good age, which implies to me he's not over the hill, he's probably mid 20's. He's a replacement for C Davies.

A couple of rumours that it could be Jay Emmanuel Thomas. We'll see!

Big test for Lennon if he has to rely on Bosman's and loans, that would prove how good he really is.
