I want to take the Mrs to Rome for a few nights in either April or May. Can anybody recommend a nice hotel, preferably a 4 star, that is centrally located and near to all the attractions? I was thinking about spending up to £750 for 4 nights B&B for flights & hotel.

No chance of Rob Hall signing for Douglas. I hope Dougie comes in for Moxey though,he still has another 2 years left on his contract after this season and Lennon obviously doesn't rate him.

With Pratley out with a torn hamstring, I reckon Bannan will come straight in, but I think we lack some height in midfield, as Bannan is only 5'7. The Bulgarian lad is 6'1 and Sporting shelled out 2.5 million Euros for him, plus he's already played a couple of games for the full national team, so it could be step up Mr Slavchev!

I'd be delighted for say £1 million + for Chungy, considering he's a Bosman in the summer. If it means Lennon can finally bring in a couple of quality players this window and we have to sacrifice Chungy, who apparently doesn't want to sign a new deal with us, then it's a good deal for us.

I think Lennon pulled out of the Fabrrini deal because he didn't think paying the player 14K a week was worth it, whilst Millwall obviously thought differently.

There are only 2 of us and we'll be getting the train from Birchwood to Lime Street at around lunch time and I think we'll probably head straight into the Wetherspoons pub (The Richard John Blackler) the pub is just 0.7 of a mile from the station. After getting hammered in Spoons it will be a cab to the ground which is 2.8 miles away. This is all thanks to AA route planner and I just hope I've typed in the correct postcodes!
