May 14, 201511 yr Hearing some contact offers have been retracted due to financial constraints bad news
May 14, 201511 yr Not bothered in the slightest if Mills is one to go, Bogdan would sting a bit but Amos will be cheaper and arguably better. Pratley would be standard Bolton, hits the form of his career and looking like a world beater right before we let him go, need to do our best to at least get a 2 year deal done.

May 14, 201511 yr The clearest indication yet that Eddie Davies has stepped away. He might want to have stepped away but he's still the owner of the club
May 14, 201511 yr But of course we're on course for challenging the top 6 next season...... I'm not sure that anybody really believes this will happen
May 14, 201511 yr I'm not sure that anybody really believes this will happen Some on here seem to....
May 14, 201511 yr Some on here seem to.... I think there is a difference between "hoping" and "expecting"
May 14, 201511 yr Hopefully Mills will be Rob Hall's chauffer to Milton Keynes and carry on driving to Fulham. Don't rate him at all
May 14, 201511 yr Some on here seem to.... I think it's more a case of realising there's more to life in this division than throwing cash about.
May 14, 201511 yr I think Lennon will walk out if there is no takeover. Wouldn't blame him. A certain SA be available soon.
May 14, 201511 yr Has anyone blamed Gartside yet? Rudderless/on the take/clueless/sending us back to the abyss* *Delete as appropriate
May 14, 201511 yr Has anyone blamed Gartside yet? Rudderless/on the take/clueless/sending us back to the abyss* *Delete as appropriate I'm not a Gartside hater and were in the middle of a prefect storm of FFP and vastly declining income because of relegation but surely this scenario should have been better planned for them this its akin to Labour Party not fixing the roof while the sun was shining.
May 14, 201511 yr If Lennon walks And I don't think he will It would be because goalposts have moved If so, and we need to appoint yet another Manager, Gartside has not really done a good job has he? It's all a big IF and I hope dearly it doesn't happen
May 14, 201511 yr crazy isn't it. a nothing article has led to the whole club collapsing in less than a page!
May 14, 201511 yr Big test for Lennon if he has to rely on Bosman's and loans, that would prove how good he really is. I'm pretty sure Big Mick took over at Ipswich when they were rooted to the foot of the league and they had fook all to spend, proves you can still build a decent side without much money in this league.

I don't think Ipswich were under the same financial restrictions we seem to be. It is one thing to rely on frees and loans. Another if even getting half decent frees and loans is an uphill struggle because of your finances. IF the Bolton News are right and these contract renewals are in doubt because of cash flow that sounds even more serious. That sounds like there are significant operating issues in the business beyond the longer term need to reduce the wage bill etc....

(i dont think it is i just want to get on the conspiracy train choo choo)
May 14, 201511 yr There is obviously a cash flow problem at the club different than the previous status quo .We can all speculate as to the reasons why after all there are a myriad of issues that need to be resolved not least the future direction in terms of ownership of the club . Lennon has said he likes the club & its 'community' , will this be enough though if has nothing to work with in the coming weeks ?
