Reading is a dreadful away day. Excuses or no excuses, I’m simply not even contemplating it.   Fair play to those who do bother

Big players in for this

Train looking expensive but will sort something

This is an official #noexcusesrequiredawaygame

And at 80 quid for the train, no excuses are required

Simply no excuses

Back to the hardcore 500-800, probably see the rest at Preston

I'll chat you through the AHM itinerary at West Brom

BB was talking minibus

no excuses for missing this one

Not many takers tbh so may push boat out on train

Motorways are just getting worse

80 quid, plus getting to Manc

Not for me

Can't go, anyway, but I'm glad it's reading

Even worse than derby and boro

Going to England v India that weekend, I bought the tickets ages ago as my first experience of test cricket. Have since been to a couple of cricket matches and realised its not as fun as it looks.

So yeah, looking forward to it.

In for sure

Back to Thorpey's pub after the game

Great night last season and the pub we had the indian in before the game was superb as well

Away season ticket holder?

Would love to know how many of those we have.

How much are they? And is it just first dibs on tickets?

In

I'll be single handedly getting mobbed up at whatever station in London the train leaves from with a four pack of Stella

Just seen that Euston is closed for 3 weekends starting 18th/19th

As already been said, maybe the worst away game/trip/atmosphere of the season.

I wouldnt go if it was free.

Shame, because the date is crying out for a local away game re summer weather etc....

£20 I think mate. Not sure what the obligation is to buy every ticket

3 hours direct from Stockport and still nearly £70 quid with the rail card, plus tickets, ale, food, taxi etc

I am out.

Is the ground a trek from the station?

Good couple of miles, maybe even 3 or 4. Certainly wouldn’t fancy walking it. There are buses, not sure how quick they are, times etc. We got a cab both ways about £7 each way from memory

Yep, last time we went, taxi both ways - too far to walk.

Last time we drove, we got a parking ticket !!
