  1. ESL ones towards the away end near us are a joke I mean when you get them starting at the top and working down the rows and then you try to point out to them that starting at the bottom might be better and they just look at you all gormless like and so you try to be helpful and use the analogy of would you start sweeping your stairs at the top or the bottom and they still look gormless and the gypo looking one with the ear ring stands in front of you and when you say you cant see he says sits down now and you think who the fcuk are you talking to you sad red ginger and then everyone stands up at that precise moment anyhow as we're attacking and of course not forgetting that this is actually quite legal like which then begs the question how can it be a ragging safety issue if its legal to stand up briefly during an exiting passage of play then surely its more dangerous then than any other time and besides that surely if theres a ragging bomb scare or summat then you'd have to stand up and get out pretty quick I mean we all remember the Bradford fire dont we I can just imagine our cunts shouting sit down as the flames lick round their feet so whats that all about then Alfie plus of course we have the best legroom in the country and so the dangers inherant in standing up are minimal of course the red ginger behind you cant see but then as I pointed out earlier we are averaging the same number of points per home game as in the season we got relegated and far fewer goals and so its probably a blessing Kaku in disguise that they cant see anyhow and besides everyone in that bit of the ESL is pissed up anyhow and even if you're at the very back they make you sit down as you're blocking the views of the adverts even though thats bollocks and while i'm on the subject of adverts I wish they'd stop the stupid ragging adverts on the big screen when you're trying to see a replay of summat interesting oh ho very funny keeprs just made a save and would you credit it and advert for the Chequerbent Building Society comes up which makes you wonder what would happen if someone put the boot in on the keeper and the fucker's pissing blood for a week how would they tie that in with an advert? What do you all think?

Dont think you'll get a 10 year, multi-million pound contract though i'm afraid.

  12. Went to the Kestrel boozer off the A50 last night, famed for its large steaks; they told us about this and now its on the web: from http://www.bbc.co.uk/derby/content/article...5_feature.shtml People living in Hatton were treated to a real feast as contestants from Swadlincote, Ilkeston and Wigan prepared for the biggest 'steak-out' of their lives! The challenge was on at the Kestrel Inn to see who could polish off 200 ounces of pure meat in a record-breaking attempt for the coveted title of 'the greatest steak eater in the world!''Meat' the contenders!David Horrobin, 55, from Swadlincote.David???s strategy was simple: "Start steady and get stronger!"Roger Smith, 38, from Ilkeston.Roger's strategy was slightly different: "I've been eating extra to swell my stomach out a bit and I've had nothing to eat today. I just want to beat the book of records really." Sara Manifold, 23, from Wigan. Sara looked confident before the start: "I'm going to give it all for the girls. I'm the only girl in the competition so I'm going to give it 100 percent, even if it takes me all day."I've got a plan; I'm going to cut it into eight pieces, roughly the same size and eat each piece with a different style of sauce."After eating as much steak as humanly possible, and with the final weigh in completed, Sara Manifold was declared the winner, polishing off a staggering 100 ounces in five hours.Roger and Dave tied second place, eating 65 ounces each.Sadly, the record was left unbroken, but there???s always next time.

  18. From http://www.games.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mai...03/sfndia03.xml Ipswich T-shirt puts Delia in a stew Delia Smith's love for Norwich City is such that she is joint owner of the club. However, it seems she may have had an earlier fling with Ipswich Town. The evidence is a photograph taken in 1978 when Delia visited Ipswich as part of the BBC children's television programme Swap Shop, and showing her wearing an Ipswich rosette. Now the picture is adorning T-shirts being snapped up by Ipswich fans for a tenner in time for Christmas. "The picture had been in our building for 25 years and had become a bit of an urban myth," says Steve Mellen, of the fanzine Meet Me At Sir Alf. "We had it legally checked and it was fine. I thought it was a good gimmick. The T-shirts are selling very, very well. A lot of people are buying them to give to Norwich fans as a joke."
  19. http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=8...toid=2127906443 Cockneys, eh - what can you do
  20. It's snowing here now - wonder what Phil is up to To be honest I think a bigger problem than getting non ST holders in is getting the ST holders to turn up and hence give the atmosphere a chance. Dont forget that with your ST you are counted as being there even if you're not - so our attendance figures are a bit phoney for many of the games.
