Meanwhile in Iran
You don't watch the BBC. I get that. You sort the wheat from the chaff. I get that even more. What's not to understand?

Meanwhile in Iran
I'm not like you I don't discriminate. I read and watch, from all viewpoints and spectrums, as much as I can, or want to. We are all brainwashed to some extent. But unlike some I try not to gerrymander my news intake.

Meanwhile in Iran
Out of curiosity. What media outlet or news source do you watch?

Meanwhile In America
If no shots were fired then at worst this agent might have gone home with a bruise on his leg and this woman would be in cuffs and still be alive. The US love their guns. It's a gun society and that's not going to change. They are more than happy to execute their citizens for a traffic stop. The country is a paramilitary state.

Northampton Town (H)
Yes, I know why we have wide men but this aspect of our game is just not working at the moment. But this is a team and management failure rather than a winger failure. Just look at the corner count in our last few home games. A high count with little to no reward. This obsession we have in getting the ball to the wide men in every single attack is predictable and teams are more than capable dealing with it. Still undefeated this year though 🙄

Things I didn't know yesterday but I know now.
The melody for the American national anthem originally came from a 18th century drinking song in England called To Anacreon in Heaven. You're welcome, USA.

We were awful but we didn't get beat. Why are we not rejoicing at this result? You're a strange bunch.

England cricket
Before 1st test - Dead excited. It's coming home. 1st Test - Best chance of winning given the advantage we were given. Should have won but blew it. FFS! 2nd Test - Day/nighter and still positive. Folded like a pack of cards. Not surprised but still a FFS! 3rd Test - 75% of my interest has evaporated after the first 2. FFS! 4th Test - Couldn't care less. No waking up dreading to check the score through squinted eyes. 5th Test - I'll probably be hating cricket by then. We Would have won this Ashes series under a Tory government and with Mike Brearley as skipper.

Paintballing
Did the Worsley one with work a long, long time ago. It was ace. I really enjoyed it. Not done one since. Which disappoints me.

👎🏽 Not Swindon Town 👎🏽 The away team is Wigan. A Bolton legend played in this match. I can't believe you'll want more clues after this.

Official Boxing Thread...
Joshoa is on the downward slope of his career. Can't blame him for filling his boots with the purse he got for this fight. Paul would struggle against a regional cruiserweight champion from the UK. AJ has done Paul a favour by twatting him into next week. Paul should revaluate his ability and the standard of his future opponents. Paul Vs Alan Carr would be closer contest than last night's mis-match.

The social media genie is out of the bottle. We will see more and more of this. There's money to be made from a newer and younger audience. I remember seeing a weigh-in with the SM influencer Amber O'Donnell against another SM fittie. Now for this old man that was lovely to see. I couldn't tell you how the fight went though.

As expected Paul got his clock cleaned. It was a joke and it was a total miss match. But It was quiet a satisfying watch. Don't forget that this bloke is the same one who couldn't beat Tommy Fury.

I didn't realise the fight was on Netflix. I've decided to set my alarm and watch it. I really want our has-been to destroys the loudmouth wannabe.

SPOTY
Disappointed that one of the ladies teams didn't win the team of the year award.
-
The Darts
They need to move the worlds from the Pally. Same goes for the snooker in Sheffield. There are far better and bigger venues in the UK. Two of them are in Manchester.

You're right of course. It won't be at the level of the RFU but it's about time the other federations up their game. The US women football team had a lot of advantages for a long time. That gap has almost disappeared.

SPOTY
Aye, for me too. But they were at home and big favourites to win it. The ladies who won the euros didn't have any of that. But it was "only a euro" not a WC. Anyway both were fantastic efforts.

The team of the year should be interesting.

I can only go off what you say. How would you feel?

Mansfield Town (A)
I'm not "banging on" about the performance. All I said is that it was poor. If you can tell me it was anything other than that then I'll listen.

The scenario you offered me you asked how I would feel. Not what I thought.
