  2. All wrong. Here's a little bit more of that terrace. Very odd. I would think that a few on here have been to this ground. But not many would have been when this terrace was in use.
  3. Got my 2 STs this morning. No queue and dead easy. I normally get seduced by some sort of merch in the club shop. Not today, I was disciplined.
  4. Here's one for the black belts of NTG. Amateurs keep away. Know your limits.
  5. Got to Rotherham early doors one year with @victor meldrew. Got refused entry to Milmore because I had a little too much to drink. Which I couldn't argue against. Mainly because I couldn't talk. Anyway, because of some stupid bylaw about entering a sporting arena while intoxicated I got locked up and later took to Rotherham Central. While there I met PC Roscoe. He was GMPs football intelligence officer for Bolton. Back then Bolton were causing havoc at most away fixtures in the country. He basically wanted me to be his grass. Anything being planned or folk involved in frontline action he wanted names. He told me that they knew who the big boys were but needed someone "in the mix". FFS I have never been "in the mix" in my life. No matter how much I tried @Casino and @victor meldrew never did get that 5am door knock.
  6. I've been to no other club more than the Millers. Lost count how many times I've been. I doubt anyone on here has seen us win there. It's been a monkey on my back far too long so Iamin FFS win so I don't have to go back there EVER AGAIN!
  7. There's Derby's and there's Derby's! You get derbys were the rivalry is pure - Newcastle/Sunderland. Ipswich/ Norwich. Southampton/Portsmouth. Villa/ Brum etc... There's an argument to be had that some same city Derby's aren't pure. The Mersey and Manchester derbys for example. Bolton do not have a rival, fact! Over the years our biggest rivalry has changed with the wind. Man U. Blackburn. Bury. Wigan. Even bloody Stockport. None of these rivalries had ever been a two way "love-in". I like this rival neutrality.
  8. I have only paid for one boxing ppv event in my life. I vowed that I would never pay for another ppv again. Well, I would pay whatever it takes to see Froch twat Fury Snr.
  9. indiscretions The contradictions, or "misinformation", in their food hygiene rating is the issue I suppose. With their previous Indiscretion it's not a good look. *Just to be clear. I'm not saying the kitchen staff lick the pots and plates clean after service.........
  10. Just been on Achari's site to book a table for tomorrow night. On their site it proudly boasts that food hygiene inspections are regular and un-announced. We always pass with flying colours. It shows an official FH rating sign of 5*. On the a official FH rating site it says it was last inspected 12 months ago and gives it a 3* rating (generally satisfactory), hardly flying colours. This curry house was forced to close a few years ago because it had been cooking, serving and preparing food with no running water. This is a public information post. *I didn't book*
  11. Isn't it. It's possible to learn more from losing to no-marks than we do from clipping the wings of the big boys. A nice little reality check can be a good for the soul.
  12. None of the issues raised about the coverage has bothered me at all. I can't say that I've even noticed them.
  13. I good point and a good last 15. But on the whole it wasn't a comfortable game for us at all. But I would say the same for them too. Lincoln are there to be caught but we have to make sure we do our bit to do that.
  14. Scotland winning was good for the 6N. Italys improvement is also good. England losing to anyone will create massive scrutiny. But this defeat is good for England. Complacency and a team that was up-for-it can be a wake up call for a squad that has just beaten the Blacks.
  15. Schumachers can do himself and the team a favour by leaving Cissoko back in Bolton.
  16. It's been a tough couple of months with games coming thick and fast. Not surprising that some performances were, in my opinion, dull and we looked leggy. Having said that I thought the first half against Wimbledon was excellent. One of our best 45 minutes for a long time. Concerning that we let them get back into the game in the second half but at least it didn't cost us. On the whole, and given the busy Christmas and January period, I'm happier than I was. A slight upturn in recent performances is promising and the new additions look like good business.
  17. I've no great love for the Baddy but I can appreciate that he can fight. The pool of fighters that he needs to fight in the division is getting smaller and he lost to one of them last night. He was schooled by Gaethje. The Scouser against the mad Irishman would make good viewing.

Funnily enough me and my sister have just finalised and registered my mum & dad's Lasting Power of Attorney today. We did think about going down the solicitors road but we decided to do it ourselves. Medical & financial LPA for the pair of them. Now it's done It's a weight off our minds. And our folks know that a security blanket is there If needed. If you are thinking of doing a LPA then do it yourself. Save yourself a shit load of dosh. It wasn't hard.
  20. I like Trump. He's box office. When his reign started it was great to sit back and watch him divide his nation. Since then he's put troops on his streets. Created a tariff war with the world. Kidnapped presidents and bombed that country. He has fanned the flames of unrest in other parts of the world and he's picked a fight with the BBC and penguins. And now this Greenland nonesence. If your biggest pal started to throw his weight around with your mates what would you do?

Let down by time wasters (@Steejay 😉) The AHM have got room for a one if you are in the Horwich/Howfen area. No runners are scarfers.
  22. Yes, it's good to win. But let's not kid ourselves. Wigan were very poor. They made us, a team who has been woeful for months, look pretty good. But being a true optimist I'm hoping that this is a turning point.
  23. They did need to change the name. But they needed to get rid of the Manchester part, not the Originals bit. I know some have no issues with it, but no matter how hard I try I can't get behind a team with Manchester in their name. Anyway, fkn Super Giants 🤣
  24. Fair enough. I didn't realise it was a part of a larger chat with MW and that your reply, where I came in at, was laced with sarcasm. I took it on face value. Anyway, I forgive you 😁
