If Mansfield had equalised with the last kick would we criticise the defending for the goal, or would we analyse the entire 90 mins? Win, lose or draw if a performance is poor it should be called out. It was poor last night. No one can really say it was anything else.

Chalk & cheese, Cheese. You have to take each match on its own merits. The Man City game was a Rorke's Drift type of point. A game we weren't really expected to draw never mind win. At least City gave it a fucking good go. If City had limped through the 90 mins we wouldn't have held it up there as a massive result. If we had hit the woodwork that many times last night then the criticism wouldn't be as harsh. Imo the Criticism is justified. Cigars and VCs all round for the City match. A serious look at ourselves is need after last night.

The positive spin given on the performance(s) I get. But no matter how much glitter you put on it, and given the advantage that we were given, it doesn't change the fact that it was very disappointing performance last night. Understanding the negative aspect is better than trying to brush it under the carpet.

I'm not expecting us to rip teams apart with a clinical efficiency. But given the cards we had in our hand last night we should have done better. Yes I'm glad we won but the way we went about the game after they went down to 10 was very disappointing. And that says more about SS style. It was like watching Evattball. What we got was a rebrand, S'macherball. It seems we are a difficult team to beat, but not a team anyone has any big reservations about. Sounds familiar doesn't it.

We were second best for 90% of the game. The way the match panned out I was happy with the draw. I reckon Wiltshire could make a good manager one day. First time to Luton for me. The day turned out to be a unexpected good one. Kenilworth Rd was a trip back in time. Everything about the ground and the location screamed Life On Mars. And I say that in a good way. Brought back memories.

Smoggie fans like Forss. Had good things to say about him when he came to ours. He's obviously down the pecking order at Boro. And the way things are shaping up for Boro this season I can't see his position changing in a positive way anytime soon. I agree, he does need to get more involved. If we can squeeze a little bit of what Kevin Davies use to do out of him then I reckon we could be on to something.

Went to South Africa for the cricket. Durban test match we were on a grass banking and we had nowhere to hang our Wanderers flag up so we unfolded it and sat on it like you would do with a picnic blanket. Bloke behind us, with a very broad South African accent, said he was trying to figure out what was on our flag and asked if we were from Bolton. Turned out he went to SA when he was 4 when his mum emigrated in the 50s. He was originally from Egerton near where I lived at that time. He told us that he has never been back to Bolton, or England, since he emigrated but regarded himself as a Boltonian and a Wanderers fan. As coincidences go, and given the circumstances, this isn't a massive one. But it was great chatting to him and swapping stories. He looked like Eugene Terra'Blanche and had the same political views of him. I sometimes wonder...... 🤔

Yes, Dan was shite. I wanted to be proven wrong, and I gave him enough time to do that. He had the first touch of a shite player. And he ran around chasing shadows like a shite player. He never once showed me that there was a player in there. To confirm my assessment of him he will be voted the players player of the year in the SPL - YHIHF.

There isn't a football ground in the country that isn't a pain to get away from. Live with it. The bigger issue is folk leaving from 80 minute onwards. it's embarrassing. Rolling the dice just so they can get home for their tea. I'm glad they miss the Cardiff and Wilbraham moments.
